Great lineup and great show. I was surprised Raconteur didn't go higher and also Michters barrel strength. But Michters 10 rye is also a beast even at the lower proof.

Good show. I certainly keep in mind your reviews before I purchase >$100 whiskies. I had a pour of the 23 Michters 10 year earlier this year and when I landed a bottle of the 24 barrel proof this year I thought it was better than the 10 year . I went out and hunted down a back up of the barrel proof. I am surprised that barrel proof didn’t score higher. I also for the most part when I acquire bourbons that you give high marks to totally agree with your review. Thanks for your reviews cause they certainly are a part of my decision making process on purchasing the higher MSRP bourbons.

I picked up an Old Ezra barrel proof rye 115p for $29 and on a blowout sale, that was fantastic. Didn’t realize it was $70 normally, and it’s ok at that price. But fantastic at $29.

Jason you hands dowm have the best show. Love the history and detailed descriptions of what your drinking. If you want to bring up your viewer ship you just need to do a few bourbon hunting, some give aways, and dont skip allocated stuff like blantons etc. I watch a ton of your tubers and have watched some bourbon tubers who arent great easily get tons of viewers because of those things. Do any of these and 200k is easy.

Sorry I missed the live. Watching the replay now. I just started getting into ryes around September. Found several that I love. In fact Sagamore 9yr, Pursuit United Double Oak rye, Bardstown single barrel rye Seelbach's #1 and Jack Daniels SiBBP rye Whiskey Row pick were in my top 10 whiskeys of the year.

The batch 1 of the Cask Strength Pumpernickel Rye is AWESOME. Side by side, not blind, it beat my JDSBBP Rye. I enjoyed it much more. It's a very diverse, complex sip. It's 70$, sitting on shelves. I got it at Kroger. I would recommend it for sure maybe as an alternative to the Two Souls.

Awesome show Jason! I noticed RR15 has increased in price quite a bit on secondary. Was 425ish and now seeing it at 550ish. Could this be to how it did in Bourbon of the Year blinds and rankings? I thought Bourbon prices were dropping a little bit on secondary but nope 😅

End of year hype induced. Everyone waited to see how it fared against BTAC and it pretty much goes toe to toe with GTS. Also people looking to grab last minute bottles for the holidays will help drive up prices toom

Jason jokes about being an MGP consultant, but ironically they must be wasting money somewhere on terrible consultants. Literally all the top WhiskeyTubers could be hired and improve the whiskey market within 12 months. The terrible decisions need to stop.
