Yay for MV 70! Casey, you got it right! Dodgers ‘n 5. Love the Yankees but they will be back. But Dodgers were fabulous. Loved hearing about your ‘team chemistry - take chances, take risks. The pressure is tough Grampa is a forever fan. We were pulling for them until you knew there was no chance. But they played a great game. Just making it to the World Series - as Grilli said - is something to have bragging rights, win or lose. Absolutely loved hearing your expert opinions. Your many “isms” is great way to look at it, Grilli vBravo to the Podcast. You win some and lose some. Bravo to the Dodgers. And Bravo to our Yankees. Rest up those 4 months. You have to remember the scouting report on Freddie probably mentioned how his injured ankle was affecting his swing. He sat out a lot during the NLCS against the Mets. They won all the games Freddie sat out. This was game 1 of the WS so they probably didn’t know what to expect from Freddie (although he did hit a triple earlier). Nobody was expecting anything from Freddie.

Dave made the same call when he brought Graterol in. Coming off injury, and not having pitched in over a month, Dave pitched him in a high leverage situation against murderers row and it worked perfectly. I believe it was the 7th inning of the same game. The two managers make the same call but one gets vilified and the other gets no reaction…because it pretty much went unseen.

Missed is the plate discipline. Dodgers made him throw alot of pitches. Cole was not going 9.

All these Yankee lovers (media) had this Yankee as a very good team… yeahhh. they are a Good team on a Weak AL league they where the best of the worst. Simple as This the NL is a way much better league I could name 5 teams in the NL that are better than the Yankees -Padres -Phillies -Braves -Mets -Dodgers -Brewers Il throw in Diamondbacks or Nationals
