In awe of Brody Malone, and also rooting for Khoi Young, he seems so reliable and for a team that's essential! Whittenburg also seems so determined and focused!

i was there in person and it was amazing to see!! ik a bit about gymnastics, bc my brother is one, but I love rewatching to hear the commentary just to hear more info about it and to see things I didn't get to see in real time. There were so many amazing things going on at one time.

What an incredible display of talent and dedication from the USA men's gymnastics team at the Xfinity U.S. Championships! Watching Brody Malone, Khoi Young, and Donell Whittenburg perform was truly inspiring. Their focus and determination are remarkable, and I can't wait to see how they continue to excel leading up to Paris. Huge shoutout to the commentators for providing such insightful and engaging coverage-this broadcast really captured the essence of the competition. Well done, Team USA!

I love Tim Daggett as a commentator. He has such enthusiasm for each competitor and really wants them to excel. His knowledge from his experience as a competitor makes him an excellent judge of performance. And he has a great personality.

Yes! Bring Dagget back! He is my favorite commentator in gymnastics, male & female; his enthusiasm is genuine! 👍 I never understood why people criticized or spoke negatively.😢 Women’s gymnastics is missing Tim; I’m more excited for men’s gymnastics right now & I think it’s because of Tim.😁

Men's gymnasts dont get the credit they deserve. Men and women have very different events. The only overlap is floor. Otherwise viewers cant say "men's version is so boring". Because there is no other version. Men's gymnastic is amazing.

Awe Tim.. Nice to hear him. Hope he is doing well. So many people complained about him that now he is out of women's commentating. And it will be so hard to get him back :/ So many people want him back. Maybe he should do a podcast?...

I'll go first -- US Men's Olympic team will be: Brody Malone Frederick Richard Khoi Young Yul Moldar Donell Wittenberg Donnell's a Vault & Rings specialist; the other 4 are all good AA guys. Discuss, disagree, & post your lineups.

I feel like Hong has a small advantage over Whittenburg with his Parallel bars, but Donnell's my sentimental favorite and I hope he makes it. I agree with your other 4. I think Wiskus and Juda have outside chances for that 4th spot but it's Yul's to lose right now.

I feel like the pommel horse is just made to torture these athletes. It just seems so difficult and easy to fall.
@Darby969
@Darby969 6 ай бұрын
Historically it’s like the men’s version of the women’s balance beam. Even the best in the world fall on that event at the biggest competitions. It’s just tough, and the US has not historically had super strong pommel horse competitors the way they have had great competitors on other events.

@@flowerpower32I think that is slowly starting to shift now that the men are starting to have a bigger social media presence and they’re starting to bring home medals. I’m hoping this is the time for us to win a team medal at an Olympics for the first time since Beijing. If we can bring home any color in TF that’s going to change things.

Oof. We all know US MAG needs a boost. I watched to see what's going on MAG-side to encourage and Daggett still adds what annoyed me his commentary on WAG-side. It feels like he wasn't learnt on what he did wrong, but rather was put in a bubble that fit well in an echo chamber. How does that grow the sport when even folks like myself want to support the growth of MAG are annoyed by these antiquated comments? Also, the amount of time we've spent hearing men comment on WAG, why are women commenting on MAG so limited? I like the idea MAG should get more notice, but I keep being discouraged by this old school man-and other focused-critique of things approach alienates me. If that's true for myself, it's true for others.
