In 2013 brak de baanbrekende MT-09 door. De eerste MT-09 gaf het startschot voor de Hyper Nakes-revolutie en bracht veel opwinding onder menig motorrijder. Voor 2024 heef Yamaha weer een mooi model klaarstaan: De 2024 Yamaha MT-09. Door intelligentie en stijl te combineren wordt het Darkness-niveau naar nieuwe hoogtes getild. De nieuwe MT-09 biedt je een spannende rijervaring vol adrenaline.
Het motorblok van de nieuwe 2024 Yamaha MT-09
De nieuwe MT-09 heeft het nieuwste 890 cc, vloeistofgekoelde DOHC EU5+ CP3-driecilindermotorblok met vier kleppen. Volgens de filosofie van Jin-Ki Kanno is het geluid een belangrijk aspect van dit nieuwe motorblok. Het is de bedoeling dat de zintuigen te stimuleren, zodat de motorrijder zich één voelt met de motor.
Een van de meest kenmerkende eigenschappen van dit nieuwe model met het nieuwe CP3 motorblok is dan ook het geluid. Elke draai aan de gashendel geeft je een gevoel van adrenaline terwijl je brullend door de straat rijdt.
Het chassis van de nieuwe MT-09
De nieuwe MT-09 introduceert een stap weg van het conventionele Japanse motorfietsontwerp en introduceert nu een gedurfde, abstracte nieuwe richting voor Yamaha. Deze richting is geïnspireerd door de unieke subcultuur van motorfietsen in de grootste Japanse steden
Dit model is ontdaan van overbodig kuipwerk, maar wel netjes verpakt in een aluminium frame. Samen met het zogeheten Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) is de MT de perfecte mix van hoge prestaties, precieze functionaliteit en geavanceerde technologie.
Het design van de 2024 MT-09 is gebaseerd op het principe van '3D Riding', waardoor de rijder meer bewegingsvrijheid op de motor heeft. Deze inspiratie vindt zijn oorsprong in de Yamaha YZ motorcrossmotoren, die ook bekendstaan om hun vrije zithouding. Het ontwerpthema van de MT-09 is altijd gericht geweest op 'functionele elegantie', waarbij onnodige elementen zijn weggelaten en de filosofie van 'less is more' wordt toegepast. Elk aspect van het ontwerp is zorgvuldig overwogen om de krachtige, agressieve uitstraling van de MT-09 te versterken en de totale rijervaring te optimaliseren.

Do you have to ECU tune the bike so that it runs smooth? and if I'm right the exhaust and the tune would void the warranty.

When I got mine the warranty is good as long as I don’t change the oil flow. Even a Ecu tune is fine as long as it is reversible

Looks like we'll have to 3D print a bracket to hold the rear brake resivor so we can remove pillion pegs. Attaching it to the pillion peg was just damn lazy and give me strength even the exhaust hanger is also attached to the pillion peg..

Two things i dont like for model 2024 :( why the hell you changed the front light design ? it was way more better in 2022' 23 MT versions with thoose linear lighting design,now this look way more cheep and not to cool ,and second i dont like the right side engine sticking out way to much, it can touch the ground and damage it

Of course not but who cares? I have never owned a car or bike with a legal exhaust. My car is straight piped and my bike is way too loud. Just make sure that you save the factory exhaust so you can put it back on for MOT.
