I had the same expectation that the RD & hanger were already set. Stripped the b-screw and high/low to make it work... just to finally realize the hanger was not in the right position. Costly mistake. Lessons learned.

Bought the same in black! Waiting for the ride wrap to arrive before I take it for a spin. YT suspension calculator shows no recommendations, what are yours? In 5’9 weight 200lbs gear included, L size bike.

Awesome! Hope you get to take it for a ride soon. I'll post the link to the suspension recs. Your spring rate looks like 480. The spring that comes with the Large will be WAY too soft for you, so I would get that ordered ASAP. I ordered mine from Ohlins website directly and it took about 1 week to arrive. us.yt-industries.com/support/suspension-setup/

Yup I made it work, it just seemed weird when I was putting it together because my previous bikes had Sram brakes which fit nicely to the Postman lever like I showed at 12:40. I still ended up switching it out later to a Wolftooth dropper lever and selected the "Hayes" version and it works pretty well. www.wolftoothcomponents.com/products/remote-pro?variant=39933908058147

Great video. I am on a yt decoy youtube binge until my mx core 3 arrives, same colour as yours. One question for you, do you own any other yt bike? I have a 2021 capra size L which fits perfectly (I am 185 cm), but I have ordered the decoy XL after looking at the bike geometry on yt website, yet I am still anxious if I made the right decision or not.

Awesome, hope it arrives soon! I have had a couple Jeffsy all in large and used to have a medium Capra (2015). I’m 178cm and the large feels just right on this decoy. I think you made the right choice getting the XL 🤙

Nice video Rick. Funny, I did the same thing when mounting my derailleur then did some adjustments to try to make it right before realizing my mistake, now I’m not happy with the adjustments I made. I get some shifting creep on the ride. Are you getting rattling noises? I’m still chasing mine. Keep posting, I’m doing the same. Enjoy the ebike.

Thanks! Man, glad I wasn’t the only one who messed up the derailleur at first 😅. I haven’t had any rattling yet fortunately. Just a sporadic clunk noise when I offload the fork going off jumps. Not sure yet if it’s the headset, the fork, something by the battery??? I’ll figure it out.
