The player might have needed to become more familiar with Philidor's defence. After 7, Qd7? Qxf7, he can already resign. According to Stockfish, the score is +6.8.

Hard to explain. This same guy drew two other 2400 players (!). Maybe he was demoralized after 4 ... Be7, after which he was dead lost. First time playing the Philidor?
