Danya have you thought about doing an end game series? I’ve been looking to learn some more ones but nobody explains stuff quite like you

@jack berding He put out one video about an endgame, and stated that he would make a series, but didn't follow up on it. I'm sure he has his reasons, maybe he is not interested or is busy in general, but I would have loved that from him.
@alexchess94342 жыл бұрын
@@groverclinton1081 The position he shows in that endgame series showcasing king activity is brilliant. I think it was a Capablanca game if I remember correctly, and the king maneuvers through the h file and into the enemy territory. Beautifully instructive. I am always quite satisfied with the examples Danya brings, that endgame video was brilliant. I wish he had more as well.

Caught this live on Twitch. Thanks! BTW, doing an instructional openings video re: the 4 knights Scotch would be awesome! 😉. You often mention that you recommend it for folks up to 2000 or so, I think, but I don't recall seeing any tutorials dedicated to it. I've played around with it and really enjoy it but could certainly benefit from a deep dive Danya take on it and so, I'm sure, could others.😁

Your tutorial and explanation is very easy to understand. You go to great lengths to explain different positions in one game. That's perfect. Just one suggestion. Can you have a speedrun in one particular opening. That will enable us to see how to respond to different positions. And also improve our openings. I am sure many will be interested in this concept..

I would love a speed run for just one opening but unfortunately what we need to realise is that danya is only going to be doing one of these speed runs - his magnum opus

Instead of Bg5, Stockfish 14.1 NNUE likes Bf4 or Bg3 better. Because black has a cramped position, white does not want to trade off pieces. Placing the bishop on g5 makes trading more likely.

@Daniel Naroditsky In such positions where black has pushed c5 and has a backward pawn on d6, how does one decide whether to go after d6 with Bf4 and doubling rooks on the d-file or to go Bg5, taking the knight on f6 and occupying the outpost on d5?
