Ideally, with a nice fixed screen, you mount the projector properly so you don’t need to use keystone correction. As soo as you do the keystone correction you did, then you loose the pixel perfect screen quality, significantly distorting the image from its true capability.
@APTechs21 сағат бұрын
Yes but as a reviewer, I cannot settle with one projector. The keystone correction does not affect the quality as it’s not a TV. The projectors have built it auto alignment and much more robust tech to optimise quality.
@gregclare20 сағат бұрын
@@APTechs I understand your placement decision. However, keystone corection does indeed affect quality. It is still a digial projector with a picture comprised of pixels from the DMD micromirrors. Any keystone correction effectively looses the "pixel perfect" 4K image potential of the DMD. Instead, the image is being shrunk and distorted onto a smaller section of the DMD pixel mirror array, with interpolation being used to approximate the individual pixel colours etc. That being said, you are at least saved a little by the 4K resolution. Meaning that the lost resolution is not as obvious as it would be on a FHD projector (for example), but the impact on image quality, compared to using no keystone adjustment and optical zoom only (for a pixel perfect image), is simply a fact of using keystone (or any other digital picture geometry adjustment), on a pixel based digital display device. This doesn't take away from the quality of these projectors, but if you were to compare the same frame taken from your keystone shrunk and distorted projected image, to the same frame on a projected image using optical zoom only (with no keystone correction required), you would see the difference with a much sharper & detailed image.

Great projector but curious how it will stand against Nebula

Is this a joke nebula lol, this is as good as a jvc

Should be much better.

@@pgmfi2001 Dont let hype fool you, many users so far were less impressed after receiving it to the point some turned off EBL but Valerion bringing update at later stage to improve contrast to 30K:1 which is JVC level if true

@@pgmfi2001 Not yet JVC level but soon might be close as they said they might being 30,000:1 Contrast ratio update with EBL which is what JVC hits usually.

Nebula does not produce good quality image. Basically, most projectors in this category beat it by a big margin

This projector must be really good. How much is the screen and will it work on standard wall?
@OmarAmroussyКүн бұрын
Yes, like most projectors it can work on a wall, but u need a screen for a better image. The screen u need will vary based on ur setup for dark room vs rooms with some ambient light, size is also a factor,motorized vs fixed frame

Are the blacks really so black at timestamp 14:08 or is this because of your Cam? This looks like OLED😳😳
@APTechsКүн бұрын
When Enhanced black level are turned “on” the blacks are truly black but obviously every scene will vary plus you will need a projector screen for its full effect. Yes it’s close enough to OLED which mind blowing 🤯

@APTechs Ok,thank you. I have a white screen, but a total black room, black walls&ceiling. Is this enough?

It depends on your screen if it’s Ambient Light Rejector (ALR). As FYI my screen is grey, blue ish.
