@@edselsadventures Happy to be of service! I think the meet was a little smaller these year, didn’t seem to be as many vendors as previous, or maybe I just didn’t need what was being offered.

@@karayowell9777 I was amazed a vehicle that worked around rocks, dirt, gravel for 95+ years had so few dents. Usually these commercial vehicles were used and abused until they fell apart. This is the nicest one I’ve ever seen.

Made the annual pilgrimage also- we always go to the back and work forward towards the gate. We returned Sunday, "just because". Most of the vendors left Saturday. Nicest car was a beautiful mint '40 Ford Deluxe Conv., Folkstone Grey. Way out of my reach $$. We hit snow going over Tehachapi summit on the way back.

It is always good to make one more pass, you never know what you might find! It's the thrill of the hunt for me, I really didn't "need" anything. Just enjoy the window shopping. I heard rumors most of the vendors where planning on leaving after Saturday. Hope you found some treasures!

That 35 looked great, I happen to have a survivor 35 Tudor with 31K, black and apple green as this one. Original cars are hard to locate, I have the original sales invoice with the car too, only 668.71. The first owners traded in 2 1928 Model A’s, if only we had a Time Machine, where’s Doc Brown.😂

I meant to say that 29 AA dump truck looked good, I’m wanting a 31 AA. They made one that would dump straight back, then left and right side dump.

@@Kybossls Man I wanted that car, I should be able to afford it in about 6 months, but doubt it will still be around. I felt the price was very reasonable. Going be thinking about that one for a while for sure. I let a gorgeous 1930 Model A pick up get away from me once too. Still kicking my self about that one too.

@@Kybossls I was surprised at the condition of that dump truck. For a commercial truck that worked around falling rock and gravel it had almost no dents, or someone spent a ton of time taking the out. If you put a new paint job on it, you’d never know it was almost 100 years old.

That last car that you liked so Much we had one. My sisters and I rode in the back 4 of us . baby ,mom and dad in the front. My dad loved that car but mom didn't feel safe with not being able to see us. So he had to sell it😢

@@GenettaClark that must have broken your father’s heart. I can’t believe how nice that one was. Obviously parked someplace safe for many decades. Looked like it was only a couple years old, and reasonably priced. Appreciate your viewership!

20 bucks admission? Are you kidding? That's at least $25 to a Canadian and on top of all the other expenses just getting there. No thanks. Come up and see us in May 30-31 for our big Coastal Swap Meet in Cloverdale. It'll be bargain city for you Americans.

@@JimErvin-d2i I agree! The admission fee is a bit steep. With all the online options, you’d think they’d scale it back. I know they have to rent the fairgrounds and pay for security restrooms etc., but there didn’t seem to be as many folks as in years past.

@ I’ve been to Vancouver a couple times, beautiful city. A bit of a drive for a swap meet though, especially when your more window shopping than in need of anything 🤣
