How did you get the overdrive on the gearbox, it looks great for my Chrysler 65. Thnx Chris

It bolts directly on to the output shaft, I had to weld up and re-drill the overdrive flanges to suit the Chrysler, its then supported at the rear of the unit via two rubber mounts.

@@TheVintageWorkshop the drive shaft is probably land Rover? But thanks I'm looking to get a Volvo overdrive this weekend with a small modification it should fit. Great video's by the way!

@@terryreeves4308 it’s not that kind of car, we want to use it a lot and if it’s too perfect we’d be too scared of ruining it. It was also pretty rotted out to begin with and you’d practically have to start again

I appreciate your concern. I actually wear noise cancelling ear buds because the ear defenders tend to be too big and give me a headache, but you cant see that on camera As for the dust mask, I wear one occasionally when needed, but that machine has a really good extractor so for jobs like that, it just gets in the way.

What ratio is the overdrive?

I'm unsure of the actual ratios but it gives me 27% overdrive. hope thats useful.

Mount body onto body rubber first, don't under do job.
