Nice set up. My Pocket Rocket worked great for about 1500 miles before failing. Thru hiker tip…keep your stove on the ground and never on a table when boiling water. Seen too many pots topple over and a few bad burns. All the best!

Tip! Boil your water or cook below you even if you have a table to sit on. Accidents happen, and hot water or food in your lap will make for a bad day. And it just seems to work better being above your pot.

Wow, you have some snow! I have the pocket rocket delux as wel, I love it. I use it in the cold months instead of my BRS, which is just not very efficient in cold weather.

Such a wee little stove! Do you clean your "dishes" with filtered water or just scooped-up water?

@@Zazer009 filtered for sure since you don’t want to discard food smells on the ground at camp so if I have cooked a meal in it I use a little filtered water to get the food remnants and then drink it. (leave no trace / bears) then wipe with cloth and continue 😆

are all your bags water proof and if so, which brand?

@@chalampakala9788 absolutely! the main backpack is highly water resistant to begin with - hyperlite junction 55L - compactor bag for down items (quilt & jacket). Hyperlite dcf pods or dcf bags for everything else!
