it's high time Aston Martin ditches Mercedes Benz AMG engines & start making their own in-house powertrains . . . it's been said that until the mid 1990s Aston Martin collaborated with Lotus & Honda for engines & transmission . . . and those power packs turned out to be pretty reliable, but still a gas guzzler in true British made V8 fashion . . . AM could do a hybrid variant (PHEV) . . .

AMG Mercedes are known for their engines and envied by all other brands. You want aston to ditch their saviours and go for unreliable ones from their own lotus( aka lots of trouble usually serious) and Honda which is known for reliable sensible engines for normal cars not super cars. Without help from Mercedes tech and know how aston would vanish within 2-3 years. Read their history they are no match to German and Italian brands. Just hype bcoz of PR stunts in bond movies through british propaganda

Sergius, I am surprised while comparing the dynamic ability you used Italian brands first and then mentioned Porsche as an afterthought. I feel that’s not correct bcoz Porsche might not dwell more on design with the 911 but as you finally mentioned when it comes to driving feel and ability around corners Porsche are the pioneers. Italian exotics are nice to look but on engineering front they all are behind the Porsche and Germans. I believe you can compare the looks of this aston with Italian ones bcoz Porsche don’t bother much with 911. Carrera GT though is another dimension altogether

It's Same engine as Mercedes C63. You pay for the design, interior, looks. i feel you pay 1 cr for each of these aspects. If I was rich i wouldn't mind buying. Looks so damn beautiful. 😊

Why pay ₹1 Crore more for the Vantage when the Maserati GranTurismo offer similar power for less? The Trofeo variant of GranTourismo brings more horsepower and Italian flair at a better price. 🤷

Aston Martins may look cool, but don't get me wrong-I'm not a big fan of a car brand that makes cars almost indistinguishable from each other. That's just my opinion, though, as many people like it that way.
