Yeah exactly. You can take that one data point and draw a bunch of different misleading conclusions from it. 'V12 owners don't drive their cars much, that means people don't like V12s anymore so they're selling them' or 'V12s have low mileage when owners sell them, that must mean that they're worried they're gonna break so they don't drive them'. I'm an Aston Martin owner so this is ab easy decision
@all-caps3927Ай бұрын
Ok maybe the Aston looks a little more polished but it gets harder and harder to differentiate the Aston martins from each other. I'm a very avid enthusiast that knows every Lamborghini, every single modern Ferrari and which lineage they belong to, every McLaren, every pagani, Bugatti, koenigsegg etc etc. but Aston Martin simply has the most convoluted lineage of cars ever - they essentially have 3 main line cars that all do the same thing and its tiring. I think the 12c looks very sleek and futuristic, it looks much better outside Ferrari press shots which somehow always look awful. I think its a good looking car but people hate Ferrari for the sake of Ferrari these days, its so tiring.

Complaining that the new Ferrari GT car is capable of being the GT car the 812 wasn't is an interesting criticism? Seems to me like you're trying to frame the comparison in terms that flatter the Aston because it can't hang with the Ferrari otherwise. 🤔

Personally I think this new 12 cylinder is very poor. It looks like it should have come before the 812 not the other way around. Aston Martin new models are killing it lately. Ferrari, I think they've lost their touch the last 2 years.

The Ferrari looks cleaner and fresher. The Aston is more of the same but still very nice on the eye. DCT gearbox of the Ferrari will make it a much better car to drive in the end. Shame it’s a little quiet but the n/a engine is superior. I can see why Jethro favours the Aston in this test but I don’t think it will turn out to be a better car.

In the Vanquish’s defense they’re not nickel and diming you like Ferrari does. The base car has so much as far as options it seems like. For example every panel is body panel is Carbon fiber so the exposed carbon pieces that you see come as standard.

What an epic episode and so much for the eyes to feast on in an outstanding piece of film. The scenery makes me want to jump in the car and go there immediately. Sadly I don't have either of these cars to go in, but if I was offered a choice, it would be tough. I love the Daytona vibes of the Ferrari but the Aston is flat out stunning and the closing piece to camera of Jethro leaning on it is such an iconic look, I would take the Aston. What a beautiful car.
