I tried a fitting for a new driver, none of them worked better (for me) than my Ping G20. Just love this club 😁

Love this series Gary. Never played M4, but 4 years ago i got into a 2016 M2, bought it on ebay for about $200 with a Sr. flex shaft. Brought it to 2ndSwing in Delaware and got custom fit for a Small Batch EvenFlow Riptide CB 6.0 shaft. Got great performance out of it until TSR2 out performed it 2 years later. That 2016 M2 was one of my best drivers ever. Ironically, i just bought a Ping G20 (not G30) driver from 2ndSwing which has a ALTA CB 55 Stiff flex shaft taken from a G430 driver. Ive yet to hit the G20, but will in a few months.

Cleveland must be in the mix when searching for good quality, second hand clubs/irons.

I've got the TA 6 irons & cleveland classic driver, irons are great but prefer my taylormade R15 driver.

I’m absolutely loving this series Gaz and I’m shocked at how cheap some of these drivers are now, I loved the Callaway drivers of old and one of my favourites was the X hot, looking forward to the irons

Like this Idea for a video. In my opinion, irons that are fitted should be the biggest priority of the bag. A used adjustable driver can save alot of money. I got a GBB Epic for $ 3.00 at a thrift store and it works better for me that my Mizuno 230 STX.

Callaway XR driver is such a great driver , I had this for 8 years before upgrading to a cobra LTD last year

I had the Great Big Bertha Epic driver. It was my favorite driver, but I broke the face, snapping it down the middle. I think about it every once in awhile. LOL

last few months i've been building a set of pings for the new season , i haven't played for 30 odd years, except for the odd society round , My I5's have gone and replaced by I15s Driver, 3 wood and 5 wood total £130 Irons 3 to PW £180 Ping glide 4,0 wedges 50,56 and 60 were the most expensive at £200 Really loving them in the practice net and range Cant wait to get on course

Great setup for £500. You can’t lose on them either, when you look to make any upgrades, you’ll get every penny back

Love the XR16, used it for a good few years before upgrading to the rogue st max last year. Don’t feel it gets the praise it deserves. An absolute workhorse of a club, and if the rogue starts playing up its a great one to fall back on

You’ve got two great drivers there, both very very good! In 3-4 years time, the rogue st will take its spot as the best under £100

Great show and nice to see the cobra air x get a nod, got fitted for the irons a couple of years ago and they helped my game so got a driver and 5 wood from Dallas golf for £200 including shipping gamed them for just over a year then sold them for £175 then got pxg 0211 2022 version for just over £100 and air x 3 wood £60 and currently waiting for my new fitted irons from Orka rs1x on a deal at £450 with carbon shafts and Japanese forged heads, like yourself I love a bargain, keep them coming mate.

That one you showed at £129.99 is the one I have for sale Gaz, I only used it a couple of times until my new driver arrived (purchased the Epic Flash 2nd had at end of summer as a replacement until my new driver arrived). I'm now tempted to try it again as I have improved my ball striking. hmmmmm

I JUST put a standard version GBB Epic in the bag, picked it up for $10 with the carbon sole plate coming loose, but that was quickly remedied with some carbon safe plastic welder epoxy, add in a spare matrix ozik 7x3 white tie already tipped for a callaway, and i am good to go for the season, just gotta get it tuned in, seems to be more draw biased on the simulators than my 16 big bertha fusion, and face appears a bit more closed at address... any pointers on getting that tuned in with the sliding weight?

If you need to face to open, you can slide the weight towards the toe, and loft it down if you’ve got the launch to do that.

@garymartingolf i think i do have the launch to do so, the epic head is a 10.5, set to neutral, stated loft, launching around 16 degrees with just over 3100 spin on average, my fusion is a 9 degree head, and usually averaged about 14.5 launch and 26-2800 spin. I will give lofting down to 9.5 a try, along with moving the weight towards the toe next time i get to the range or simulator! Thanks!

Best drivers new are Mizuno, they have lowered the price, fitted to £229, half the price of other major manufacturers

EVERYONE is saying the same thing as you. Mizuno drivers brand new have been HUGELY discounted. Meanwhile here in Canada I saw an ST-Max DEMO still at $400 Canadian. 😖😖😖😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨. I am fed up with Canada and the golf prices. It’s brutal! 🤦‍♂️
