Wow. Brand new video of the brand new Xtrainer. Can i first just say that your videos are truly the best Beta videos out there?? No obnoxious opinions, just factual recommendations. Anyway, my ‘18 Xtrainer seems like a relic compared to this new model. 7300 miles so far. But…i like how my kill switch stays IN when you press it. I believe all current Beta kill switches are just a momentary push (you have to hold it in). Anyway, Ive always loved the low torque this engine produces. Ive even changed my gearing to 15 front, 49 rear. 1st gear is usable and the revs are moderate at 50mph. Best dirt bike ive ever owned.

I've been back and forth between this bike and the gas gas 300 I really like this bike, thank you for the thorough video I'm 53 years old Road and race motorcycles is the age of five. Been in Hiatus for the last 7 years was really considering getting a KLX 300 but I miss the sound and the lightweight feel of a two-stroke I especially love how this bike is detuned I would leave it exactly like it is change the airbox intake and I'll be about it this bike reminds me of an older KDX with much better features electric start in oil injection I really believe is a plus I believe I'm going to pull the trigger next month thanks again for the video

Experience with both…the KLK is gonna be a smoother ride when it comes for cruising gravel and dirt roads. If you’re gonna be riding tight single track trails then the Xtrainer is worlds better. But if you’re doing double track, gravel and open dirt trails the KLX will save you a bit of cash and do everything fairly well (with the exception of tight woods trails and hard enduro)

Cheers Mate, I really enjoy your channel and Beta content. I am in Australia so unfortunately, supporting your shop is impossible. I have recently just converted my xtrainer to KYB forks with an Ohlins rear shock. It has made a very capable bike into a weapon offroad. Cheers for sharing 🍻🍻

Sheered both pegs off?? What does that reflect about reliability? My buddy has had plenty of problems at high elevation with his. Good looking bike though but without reliability I would leave the bike on the showroom floor.
@3SeasRecreation6 күн бұрын
If your comment about the foot pegs sheering off is referring to the shop built XTrainer that was purpose built for a Pro class rider to be ridden at Hard Enduro events I think you need to attend a Hard Enduro before you blame the bike. There were at least 3 Factory KTM riders that lost foot pegs this year alone as well.. They get new frames every race. Literally anyone that signs up for those events understands the bike will not come out looking the same. Our bike has been beaten on for 2 straight years. If you follow or Vlogs you will see the abuse this bike has taken it's incredible really. Good luck with a TPI/ TBI 2-stroke, better have your dealers EFI tool & spare sensors in your back pocket lol.

The carb is a deal braker for me. I'm not buying a brand new bike just to have to deal with chokes, jetting, carb cleaning and poor fuel mileage. Not to mention all the hoses are ugly. It wouldn't have cost them much more to include fuel injection which is way more beginner friendly.
@3SeasRecreation6 күн бұрын
Oh my, have you followed the mess KTM is in with their 2-strokes? The company is on the verge of extreme bankruptcy. They can't keep a 2-stroke EFI model for more than a season before they totally redesign the system. TBI or TPI. They are literally using the customers as guinea pigs at 10k per bike. Good luck carrying your dealers EFI tool and spare sensors at every ride. Not saying I am against EFI but until they figure it out on the 2 strokes there is nothing more reliable than a carburetor! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

would like to see a nice compare between xtrainer stock, xtrainer modified, 200rr and 300rr (x-pro). i have a 23 300rr ...super happy, except the suspension and turning angle. But still i´m wondering , for almost tecnical hard enduro, i woul like to try a more agile and nimble xtrainer. I think, the power will be enough...hm. ofc it make no sense to do all the expensive modifications compare to get a racing 300. But i still think, a modified xtrainer is super fun agile weapon, where your mates get jealous :)

how the hell do you shear off 2 footpegs? Was it the pegs our the mounts on the frame? I have a 2023 with KYB and Sachs shock just like Mark's bike...My only complaint is the low footpegs for rock riding. I have Fastway pegs but don't dare run them in the lowboy position...but even in the high position every time a get a rock strike I bend the footpeg pin.

@jamesbowie1820Ай бұрын
5'6" here with a 2024 xtrainer; I have the lower seat. It looks huge (full size dirtbike) without sitting on it but it sags quite a bit and allows me to comfortably shift and touch on either side with one leg as needed. It's also more narrow so easier to shift to either side versus a fatter/wider seat. You may feel the need to lower an inch but for me I decided not to lower (although was considering at one point when I first got but now that I have 7-8 engine hours on it, I like it and won't be lowering). Also, I was brand new to dirtbikes as well and a bit older/stiffer as I have a work from home job sitting on my ass all day lol. Inseam is going to be the important/deciding factor for you. Mine is probably around 27"

@@SPCRacing1 they are not,just limiting the rider ability to advance.
@SPCRacing1Ай бұрын
@@roik.6694Beta isn’t limiting anything. The description of the bike and its intended use are exactly what I found it to be in real use. After purchasing an XTrainer from 3Seas early this year, I worked with Jared in trying to get the most out of the stock suspension. But we both knew going in, that it probably wasn’t going to be enough for my riding style. Jared was open and honest and finally helped in my decision to purchase the Beta USA Factory Suspension, which I know isn’t for everyone, but was a complete game changer for me. However I never stopped being realistic in my decisions and expectations. At Jared’s suggestion, I also made all the engine performance mods discussed in this video, including the FMF pipe and spark arrestor silencer and some minor jetting changes of my own. The difference in performance is nothing short of amazing! Maybe my favorite off-road motor of all time! T Himes
