Starting at the home feeders and then heading out for new January sightings is such a great balance. Almost 400 species last year is incredible-can’t wait to see what you spot this year! Looking forward to following your journey. Happy birding!

@hikeandhearthTV 😊 Thanks! Actually, we weren't feeling well as much as we wanted to head out. I think this is the first time we missed Jan.1st birding on probably 25 years. It worked out well though. Thanks for watching and HAPPY birding!

They really are! There’s something about them that's just so charming 😊. My videos of them were a bit too long. Sorry, not sorry 😅

Greetings! I am brand new to birding and a fellow Coloradan. Thank you for sharing your birding adventures. They have been helpful as I am trying to figure out which place's provide the most opportunities to view multiple species here in my home state. I was really excited to see my first loon, which happened to also be two Pacific Loons, at the Marston Lake Complex. Now, if I can only get my husband interested in birding 😊.

That's exciting to see a Loon! They're usually so far away, only a scope brings them into view. Colorado is great for birding. We hope to get some new CO spots this year. There are many we haven't explored. We just love being out in nature, so hopefully, your husband will see some advantage in joining you. Happy birding and thanks for tuning in! 😊
