BMW has just unveiled the facelift version of the popular i4 electric car and their 4 Series Gran Coupe. In this video, we can see the 2025 BMW i4 M50 and the 2025 BMW M440i Gran Coupe.
There are a lot of visual changes: a redesigned kidney grille, new headlights, new laser taillights, new iDrive 8.5, new color options and much more.

The predecessor looks more sleek and elegant, but also a bit dated. I‘m still a bit torn, even this kind of design is now 3 years old. When the coupe, cabriolet and the Gran Coupe are lowered a little bit and got at least a little front lip, then it comes all together visually, at least for me. But in standard form it is a bit more challenging. But compared to the first impression, I like it way better now. And I guess we all have to accept, that new regulations also make design changes (the car looks more „round“ than the F36 Modell and it is so large) necessary. I‘m still grateful, that they kept the inline 6 and maybe a used G22 m440i (first generation or LCI) could one day my „weekend driver“ or so. I like the „little“ tweaks on the in- and outside.Thank you for sharing this video! 👍🏽🙂

what delivery estimate are you being quoted out of interest for the gran coupe? i have the lci coupe on order and considering changing to the lci gran coupe (wasn't available when i ordered, but think i might prefer it)

It's a 4 door. There will certainly be no Cabriolet.

@@bmwblog Presently in North America you can get a I4, 4 Series Coupe, 4 Series Grand Coupe as well as a convertible. Will BMW continue to make convertibles? Seems they are slowly phasing them out.

It depends on where you live. I wouldn't go near another BMW EV unless 1) it came with a NACS adapter, and 2) BMW was allowed on Tesla's network. I dumped an i4 m50 because the CCS fast charging "network" in my area was virtually none existent. The I4 M50 was a great $78k commuter car, but 279 miles at 100% soc in the real world isn't close to that. BMW suggests daily charging to 80%, and then, you might have to contend with winter. The 279 estimated range is well under 200 in colder temps and that's assuming the car is kept in "ECO" mode. Is sounds good on paper, but it can be not so good depending upon where you live and how cold it gets in your area.

I just sold one. Nice cars Horribly overpriced. And I'm sure they will be a maintenance money pit. I had a waterpump replace ast 15,000 miles. The cost for pump and labor was just $1,800 USD.

Harmon kardon in BMW is the worst sound system ever …. In my daily 2011 328i HIFi system sounds much better ….

@@carl_dtz1222 it's not bad, just not that great as you would expect. Marginally better than my stock 2014 328i sound system. Actually, I liked the lows in the 328 better.
