Bought one last month. Done nearly a 1000 miles of real world driving in it as my daily. Everything I hoped it would be, stupidly fast on the move if you want it to be without being obnoxious and obvious. Excellent!

As a kid I just accepted the "Euro cars are vastly more expensive because, just because '. And maybe the quality was far better than the opposition. These days I realise it's literally just a rip.off which they keep getting away with.

@@Sean-sz7zo Euros for the most part are poor value when you look at reliability, total cost of ownership and longevity. When they work very enjoyable, but that’s not enough.

Yeah, Toyotas and Hondas are pretty damn overpriced and often have cheap nasty aging interiors compared to their euro, Korean and now chinese competitors. But they are known for being reliable and having a great part support network. BMW/AUDI have neither, and are often riddled with engineering time bombs and other issues that make it a lot more work to do simple things for mechanics, hence much higher labour costs.
