Because of all the facts you’ve mentioned and I can sign, my M440d convertible is the perfect car, when you don’t need the space. I’ve driven the new M3 Competition a few days ago and when you’re not needing the last bit, the difference in acceleration doesn’t feel that huge. Nice review 👍🏻

I am driving an M340d Touring since 4 months now. And I can tell you, that I enjoy every Kilometer with this Diesel Engine. The car is fast enough and has a Top Automatic Transmission. You feel always much torque, the Engine sounds quiet good, and the consum per 100 Kilometer is about 7 to 7,5 Liter. I can highly recommend the 3Series with this B57 Diesel Engine. And my car before was an M4 Modell 2019....

This car cant have a turbo lag becouse of the biturbo so the small one turn on very fast and thats why the car has fast reaction.

No it's a diesel. On paper lot's of newton meters and horses. But sorry such power diesels are soleless ,small power band between 1500 and 4500 rpm . No these kind of engines ar supposed to be used in agriculture environment. This is the ugly truth. Real petrol headsr car lovers will never go for the "suice of satan " . Besides this a happy new year😂

No m340 i is worse: less torque, worse consumption, not as smooth as straight 6 diesel, too much reving to get power which strains the engine and lack effortlesness, can't tow/move heavy loads with the same grace and punch and if you delete the 340d it can basically go for ever instead of turbo petrol engine. Don't be a fool

@@samly1762 Honestly, you are talking a lot of bullshit. "Not as smooth as straight 6 diesel", what do you think an M340i is? It is a straight 6 too, obviously you know absolutely nothing. It is quicker and faster than the d and no one buying an M car wants to do heavy loads with it. No one.

M340D is very economical, poor performance compared to the M340i and then compared to the M3 Touring it’s night and day. M lights good but they are not M cars. Once you have had a real M car then there is no going back to these M lights.

4,3s 0-100 is poor performance since when? The huge low down torque makes it a very fun and comfortable daily driver. Fun is not just pedal to the floor, engine screaming and going twice the speed limit my friend. The 40d is very relaxing and fast while feeling effortless. M3 is a better sports car for sure but is not a better car at all.
