Yep love the lci, not sure why they reduced the amount of ambient lighting. Way better when they have that strip going across the passenger side dash

Seems like bmw is cutting cost everywhere. The “new” headlights are basically the SAME non-lazers from the previous design just reworked. The a/c vent surrounds are no longer brushed aluminum . It’s kinda like when restaurant cut food portions but charge the same or more

What do they do in ceramic coatings,& how does it help the paint🤔

It creates a hydrophobic layer on top of your paint. Good at repelling water and debris. A lot of good videos out there 🏎️

Appreciate the kind words bro! I think the x drive is the way to go for these cars. Car puts down a lot of power and not sure where you live but I plan on driving mine even in the winter. Also whenever you decide to sell your car there will be much more interest for the x drive version. I’ll post a video later with all the options that I believe are must haves for the vehicle

how do you find a good place to get the ceramic coating done ? on insta or just from google + the reviews? that brake dust is painful glad it went right off im 100% getting that for my future m3 or m4.

I look at a mix of both. Google reviews are major and most of the time these ppf shops have an instagram account and I go through all their posts just to see the portfolio of different cars they’ve done. If they’re constantly getting bmws or other similar cars then I feel more comfortable … they have to be good if they’re consistently growing their catalogue of completed cars 😅 I also make sure to ask them where they plan on putting the seams and how far in they’ll tick for the edges. They’ll do a consultation for you so just ask all your questions then

Don't swing your legs, you'll ruin bolsters. Put your right leg in the car, right hand on steering wheel for balance only and your left arm on the doorsill to hold your weight as you drop into the seat without touching bolsters. Need good left arm strength, lol.

You know what’s funny … as I read what you were typing I pictured myself doing exactly those movements hahah. When I swing the legs I make sure to go over the bolster and then gently under the Alcantara wheel. It’s hilarious the work that goes in to getting into the seats but this car NEEDS carbon buckets. I’ll try your method though

Very simple haha nothing professional … I use an iPhone 15 pro max set to 4k 30fps… and I also edit my videos on my phone 😅😅 does the job so far 😅

how long does the ceramic coat last?

it is an 8 year ceramic coating. You just go back ones a year to get a decon and slight touch up and it should maintain

@@Automaz_ I like the adaptive high beams on the pre LCI laser lights….have them on my 2024 M440i GC XDrive…very similar to the multi beam headlights I had on my 2019 LCI C43. Didn’t want to go back to standard LEDs…are the standard 2025 LEDs adaptive?

Don’t use any soap , specially the one on the car wash staation , cheap stuff , use soap for ceramic coating , ur coating will last longer

The ambient lighting in the 2025 models is definitely a big downgrade, I’m looking at my picture of the 2023-2024 lighting and this model has half the lights.

I thought about the blower ! But I got the car ppfd so I feel like swinging the towel around care free with no swirl issues is much quicker than the blower. I have to try the blower though because so many people have recommended it ! Thanks for the rec
