2025 BMW X3 - All You Need To Know

Here's the 2025 BMW X3 30 plug-in hybrid. Let’s start with the bad news - the new BMW X3 Plug-In Hybrid is not coming to the United States. In keeping with automotive trends, the new 2025 BMW X3 is bigger than the “G01” generation it replaces. BMW has stretched the luxury crossover by 34 millimeters (1.3 inches), now at 4755 mm (187.2 in). It’s also 29 mm (1.1 in) wider than before, at 1920 mm (75.6 in). It sends a sportier vibe now that the height has been reduced by 25 mm (1 in) to 1660 mm (65.4 in).
For the 2025 BMW X3 M50, the designers have opted for a separate layout with horizontal bars and an M logo. Because in 2024 nearly all BMWs must have a grille that lights up for some reason, the large kidneys have an illuminated contour. At the rear, the taillights with their Energy Sword theme from the Halo video game look as if the previous-generation X3 has received another facelift.
The 2025 BMW X3 enters production in Spartanburg, South Carolina in September. The plug-in hybrid model will be exclusively assembled at Plant Rosslyn in South Africa. The market launch is scheduled for Q4 2024 in Europe and the US whereas other regions will follow from January 2025.

The Range Rover Velar was launched in 2017 and the VELAR’s exterior and interior design is way more beautiful than this. Restrained but elegant. This is loud and looks like a bling bling modded car from the 2000s with those funny lights and chrome plastics that people get from autozone.

I see the same comments here as when the X1 launched. After 2 years almost everyone likes that car and its the best selling in its segment. It will be the case with this one. Everyone hates it now, in 2 years you'll see it on every street in europe and people will like it. This has none of the flaws of the 5 series or the new 1.

Unlike many of the other commenters I an liking the exterior look of the 2025 X3… the interior is low quality and poorly designed and material selection and lighting looks very Target store to me… I was strongly considering buying it but read today that it is being built in the USA and in the third world country of South Africa…. This is a definite non-starter for me… I want my BMW built in Germany.

yes, the whole car, front end so much body, the side profile, it is indeed similar to Discovery, sharing the same problem, too dumb, fat and body. Simple clean design does not mean no design. DB9 when it came out, that was beautiful clean design. This? Especially thr M50, all looks wrong.

Front end is slightly too big, but more importantly it’s too round. It’s a mix between the X2 and neue klasse iX3. The worst of both worlds. It needed to be sharper, narrow, concise. The X1 and X5 are fine. X3 a miss imo.

Wow this Tesla fan boy designer just ruined BMW’s bread and butter cash machine. He thought he could use cheap recyclable plastic and fabric, use Temu sourced door handles and steal Tesla customers? no metal door handles, window switches are just hard plastic, the speaker grilles are hidden even in the x1 they are aluminum.... theres not even a single piece of aluminum in the cabin and the doors and the dash is covered in this hard plastic.... what is going on is this a bmw or a cheap chinese EV? Just be honest BMW, you are trying to cut the cost in order to be able to sell it in china in half the price without loss.... pitty

Great interview! However, BMW has lost its mind. What the heck is this? In my opinion, I just heard a whole bunch of BS and no true response. And the inside, what is this? It looks awful. It is too simplistic, too much plastic in the interior. Nowadays it looses the characteristics, the details that matters. I do not like this trend to minimalistic design. This new X3 does not feel as a real premium car at all that BMW used to do. It is is a very big disappointment. The X5 facelift looks very beautiful, the interior of X5 is very nice, very premium feeling, very good looking. The X5 still looks like a premium BMW as it should be.
