The 2025 X3 interior reminds me of my mom’s Kia with similar cheap, scratchy plastic throughout the cabin, including the cheap door handle. Very disappointed in the exterior look of the front bumper and grill and the fact that the sunroof doesn’t open. I’ll keep my 2022 x3 until bmw’s design team gets their act together.

No they did not perfected it they just insulted people who buy from them every 3 years with horrible cost cutting and cheap plastic in the name of sustainability . 1) comfort access gone rear doors 2) tail pipes gone from 30 models 3) ambient lights gone from rear doors 4) ambient lights gone from door pockets 5) c pillar is plastic used to be leatherette 6) door tops and dash plastic or fabric 😂7) door handles and buttons went from metal to plastic 8) door grabs plastic funny thing is front is gloss back rear is plastic 9) MSport steering wheel airbag cover plastic 10) lower dash used to be rubberized material now plastic 11) foot rest and trunk scuff plates went from metal to plastic 12) sunroof doesn’t open . You can’t tell me this is not cost cutting and making the interio feel like a Kia

Couldn't agree more and it's more expensive than the previous version. I haven't heard one non-dealer review say that the interior feels premium.

@@benjohnson1968 guess what I contacted bmw customer relations and they told me that plastic use everywhere it to save weight 😂 and fuel efficiency and removing ambient light in rear, comfort access in the rear and tail pipes is for latest trends which I guess china it is ..

@@karthikJ-99 Unfortunately, these changes have been present in all BMWs released since 2022 that aren’t facelifts. The galvanized buttons have disappeared, the panoramic roof no longer opens, and comfort access has been removed from the rear door. On the other hand, a new feature has been introduced where the car unlocks as you approach and locks as you walk away. However, these elements you mentioned are no longer present in models like the X1, X2, or even the 5 Series BMW.

no open roof, the overall exterior design is way too soft, the passenger dashboard looks unfinished, no pure M models... it looks very cheap, compared to last gen this is a downgrade

The ENTIRE INTERIOR IS TRASH comparing to my current 23 x3 M40i. I am greatly disappointed in BMW!! I sat in this plastic Tupperware today , and nothing impressed me but the B58 engine. A LCI is needed by tomorrow!

I bought my X3 new and had it serviced on schedule by the dealer. The back differential started leaking at 80,000 miles and the front differential failed at 85,000 miles. Worst car I ever owned.

It’s plastic but you’re paying for that awesome engine. If you want quality inside save your money and buy an X5 or X6 or X7 but don’t complain about the entry level car being plastic. You get what you pay for.

It is a $70K turd. The only good is the engine and transmission, but this engines reliability is even a question because of the cylinder deactivation.

I disagree. This isn’t an entry level model, and the previous generation had nice build quality with metal accents and sensatec stitching. Even if it wasn’t “real leather” it still had the aesthetic of quality. This new model is a serious slap in the face. So glad I bought my ‘24 M40i when I could.

The X3 is an entry level car. Sure they switch out the engine in the M50 but that’s it. It’s still an entry level car with a higher price tag for the engine. If you don’t want plastic get the X5 with the slower engine or the faster engine the inside quality is more more superior than the X3

It’s tough to review a real downgrade while not saying so. A cheap light show touch screen centric OS deleting appreciated important features. BMW design fail.
