@@ag4eng I heard that BMW now tries to focus on the Chinese market since that’s its biggest market, with all that screen and huge LED strips. So BMW ignores its regular customers here and worldwide. Some may like that cheap, low-end jazzy LED tactic, and all screen, and say that’s new and modern and 2021-2024 is dated. But I’m willing to bet that a lot more do not like it. X3 has been BMW’s best selling vehicle, for a good reason. So BMW thinks people continue to buy no matter what it does to the vehicle. It’s interesting to see X3’s 2025 sales figure. I currently have a 2023 X3 and I like it, but my next vehicle will not be another BMW.

I don't mind the exterior or the screens too much BUT the interior to me is too chincy, it's losing it's classiness to me.

A few others have commented saying the same thing many don't seem to be a fan of the interior. I'm just really happy to see an interior that is not generic and boring at least this has some design flare. My main concern is I hope they haven't lost their solidity. Benz used to be trash now they're great. Hopefully BMW doesn't go backwards in that aspect.

Excellent point about how this vehicle is now comparable to the X5 in terms of practicality. For example, the cargo space of the new X3 is 67 cu ft versus 72 cu ft in the X5. Great review, thanks.

I’m a die heart fan boy of bmw currently own a lci 2022 x3 my preference is stiched leatherette on door tops and dashboard and aluminum touch points on buttons and handles . Atleast there should be an option to pay and get those . But to remove exhausts from all models and making everything plastic and saying it’s sustainable which is actually cost cutting. Mercedes still gives that option as well as gv70 it’s at another level everything you touch is leather . It’s just my preference to have higher quality materials they keep removing them from all models below x5

I just looking at the cabin only for a moment. Everything is consolidated into one cheap ass screen. If that fails everything in the cabin is inaccessible. Let that sink in for a moment.

@@SoulOfTech I can see that, but that’s very rare, And plus I don’t keep my car long. I am leasing my current Bmw x3M40 now. I love my pano roof. But my next car is the M3. I will sacrifice a sunroof for the carbon roof, which is actually pretty cool, but if I’m going to get this new x3M50 I need a retractable roof. Idk. We’ll see how that goes.. all in all I definitely won’t leave the BRAND

Idk my friend that's a bit of an exaggeration. BMW has one of the better interiors for the money that actually feels solid even in the lower models. Mercedes was the one with trash build quality but now has improved drastically and on par with Audi/BMW.

Yea I don't like this over reliance on touch screens really blows Mercedes went off the deep end with their stuff this is still sorta normal but not ideal to have HVAC buried in a screen.

Unlike many of the other commenters I an liking the exterior look of the 2025 X3… the interior is low quality and poorly designed and material selection and lighting looks very Target store to me… I was strongly considering buying it but read today that it is being built in the USA and in the third world country of South Africa…. This is a definite non-starter for me… I want my BMW built in Germany.

The X5 is built in Spartanburg. Haven’t heard of any issues at the plant unlike the MB Alabama plant.

I don’t like the interior too. They eliminated the stick shifter; why? I liked the stick shifter because it was easy to go from drive and reverse, and shift to manual without looking down to find the small gear shifter; why? I think this is a safety issue, especially when trying to do numerous movements, like parking. I don’t like the dashboard, it is to distracting! Keep it simple!
