Great review Kenny! I had an X5 for 10 years and it was such a tank and so nice to drive. BMW has really evolved this into a very nice SUV. Hoping that you are doing great always!

I just bought this X5 in this color and LOVE IT! Its different....looks black from a distance but purple-red in the sun.

I've had my 25 X5 x40i M Sport for about 2 months now and I absolutely love it. I have the black 742M wheels which come with summer tires, I changed them for taller all season tires and that improved the ride quality as well. The B58 is just the best engine I've ever had.

I enjoyed the video very much. I had to have my X5 ordered because, I wanted serveral options that were not available on the lot. I was surprised that there were no 2024's available. So, I had to get a 2025. Mine will be carbon black metallic w/ black interior. M sport package, Parking Assistance package, M Sport Professional Package and several other packages so I will enjoy it for a while. It should be available in about 3 weeks and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Just traded in a 19 Acura A-Spec for this vehicle.

Great review. 🇺🇸. M Sports Package. M Sports Professional . Premium Package a must at minimum with this 2025 X5. Throw in tow hitch . I would have gone for Black on Black. But my wife chose the Manhattan Green with coffee seats and feline inside trims. With optional seat adjustable. It is a nice contrast to the Black trims. Yeah the 20” MS all season tires ok. Blue Brake calipers. The red gets dirty fast. Press and hold the trunk open in driver’s door and the trunk will close automatically. We just departed our 2021 and welcome our 2025 in May. Minor but very distinct changes. Good job BMW Designing Team. Built in America 🇺🇸.

What does the average person need a tow hitch for? Rather open the trunk with my foot

❤ this car, 100% the best choice in the segment (aside from the Porsche Cayenne but that car is also a good amount more $$$), M Sport Pkg is def a must have from my experience

Nice review. I rented an X5 XDrive50e during a 2-week trip to Europe this past spring. While I didn't care much for the electric drive, I really liked the X5 itself. I didn't think a BMW SUV would feel like a BMW, but it actually does. Performance was great in gasoline mode. The electric drive part was frankly more difficult to drive, since you can't engine brake with it. If you are in comfort mode in the 50e, it will switch to electric drive every chance it gets, so I always had it in sport mode, which defeats both electric drive and stop-start. The X5 itself was comfortable and quiet on long, fast highway stints, and surprisingly useful around town. I liked the utility part as well. You can load more stuff in that thing than it looks like it's capable of. I also liked the ride height adjustability.

I've driven an Acura RDX, a Mercedes Benz GLC 350h, a Lexus RX350h, an Audi Q5 hybrid and a Mazda CX50. I'm also considering an Acura MDX and this BMW X5 xDrive 40i. I'm 60, family grown, make enough money, and drive 10-12,000 miles per year. Having driven lots of these cars, which one would you recommend? I read stuff about the 4 cylinder hybrids and whether they are reliable, that's the reason I am considering the 6 cylinder options. I would be interested in your view. Thanks, KB

Great review!! After seeing the debut of the new 2025 X3 M50 on Tuesday. I’ll go with the 2025 X5 x drive 40I. The new x3 interior looks to cheep for a the money you pay for a BMW. Looks to much like a Honda civic. No offense to Honda.

BMW ruined the new X3. Looks terrible.. Same thing with the new 5 Series sedan. Not a fan of the styling at all..

The X3 is so weird looking, but the 5 series is just unforgivable because it’s always been a handsome sedan but it’s downright ugly with the new generation.

@@redzoom7857 The 2021 ish 5 series was hands down one of the best looking sedans ever made... Now.. Just awful. And they just ruined the beautiful design of the new X3.. I don't know what they're doing over there, but it needs to stop..

Correct me if I’m wrong but are you supposed to break in the vehicle with normal driving for the first 1000miles ? So, no flooring it etc until then. Is that correct or not needed?

Thanks - still wish I did not need to add Premium when adding MSport Pro package. I'll buy the black grill separately.. ::-). Also - try "hello bmw" and it will take to lots of places easily.

Blacktop bumps on hwy at 70 mph can be felt severely on the spine. I own the exact 2025 car and color. Also, holding the steering wheel straight, the car moves to the right or left. Incredible if it’s an alignment issue for a 2025. Possibility manufacturers defect! Has anyone experienced this?

I have an X5 2019 M sport and it’s been perfection that being said I’m disappointed that you cannot get a bowers Wilkins on a X5 4.0 any longer by the Soundsystem the only way you can get it is on a 5.0 for $20,000 more…
