This appears to fix the very few things I dislike about the Lyriq. It adds B-pillar vents to the 2nd row to augment the tiny vents at the back of the console. This is particularly important as the stylish dashboard vents don't blow air to the back effectively at all, and the second row in the Lyriq can be borderline miserable on a really hot day. This also appears to have a higher seating position. And, minor point, the new charge door opens much more smoothly than the jiggly Lyriq unit.

Mostly agree, Escalade IQ would be more = Suburban EV (on long wheel base BT1 like Hummer EV SUT, Silverado EV, Sierra EV). Tahoe EV would likely be on the short wheelbase BT1 closer to the Hummer EV SUV.
@desertmodern76388 күн бұрын
Cadillac has stated a longer Escalade IQ (ESV?) will appear later, so the Suburban equivalent.
@phillyphil15135 күн бұрын
to clarify the Blazer EV, Lyriq, and Vistiq all ride on a 120 inch wheelbase that's the same as a gas Tahoe. (being a double 200 kwh pack) the Escalade IQ rides on a ginormous 136 inch wheelbase same as the Hummer EV which is the same as that of a gas Suburban. the "double pack" Silverado and Sierra EV pickups ride on an even longer still 146 inch wheelbase which is likely what will be used to under pin a LWB version of an Escalade IQ (which ironically already has a long wheelbase).

Why!?! It looks absolutely disgusting on my ID4 and it looks disgusting here. On the Bz4x reviews people also bash the piano black everywhere. They made the door time with the copper/carbon fiber look so nice and even put that trim down near the wireless charging but put the ugliest plastic on the steering wheel that you look at right in front of you. Move the piano black down to the charge area and make the steering wheel either matte or something nice with texture.

Did Cadillac just hint at the hardware coming for the Lyriq V-Series, with the Vistiq power output, available air suspension, and all-wheel steering, Cadillac should really be pushing the Lyriq as an alternative to the Audi Q8 and the Vistiq as an alternative to the Range Rover (but, it would need some seriously off-roading capable systems), was hoping for more range and higher charging speeds, will there be a similar type of executive package offered like from the updated Escalade / IQ, did Cadillac just put the likes of the Rivian RS1, Mercedes EQS SUV, and since Kia wants to charge what they charge for some EV9 on notice with the Vistiq, not to mention ICE models, like the BMW X7, Mercedes GLS, etc luxury/premium 3 row SUV/CUV models

Escalade has the charging port at the left rear end but this has it behind the front wheel. Is there any way they can coordinate port location?
@AAutoBuyersGuide8 күн бұрын
There seems to be little consensus around where the port should be, not just among car companies, but among EV owners in general. In a poll of our viewers last year things were pretty evenly split 3 ways between having the port in the front, left rear and right rear.
