I went with the Trailblazer. I live in the northeast so the AWD option was the reason for this choice for me.

Was about to buy the Trax, am now rethinking the purchase. I like the thought of the AWD, plus the capacity of having a trailer hitch for my wife's wheel chair rack an light traiering.

We have a 2023 Trailblazer LS, But We are considering trading it in on a 2025 LS Trailblazer with the optional 1.3 AWD with the 9 speed trans. Our current Trailblazer is a LS base model with the 1.2 engine FWD, & the CVT, & only has 1 option on it which is the cruise control, But we like the idea of the AWD, & we also like the wheels on the LS models. We did test drive a LT model in 2023 with 1.3 AWD, & 9 speed trans. with a few more options, But we felt at the time the LS was the best bang for the buck, & still do, But we both like the AWD offering on the 2025 model; One other note we could not feel the difference between the 1.2, & the 1.3 when test drove them in 2023 Nice review on the base model LS Trailblazer so few people do reviews on the LS model. They are still the best bang for the buck IMHO.

still surprised that Chevy doesn't incl LED interior lighting with the Trax and Trailblazer upgrades in general. When it comes to getting a new vehicle, you need to ask what you really need vs what you'd like to have. A base Trailblazer with AWD vs Trax 2RS with just FWD, I think most might got the Trailblazer.

Which size tire/wheel gives the most comfortable ride? BTW I really appreciate a real person showing and talking!!!
@chabbysrides3 ай бұрын
I’d say the 17 inch wheels since you get a 60 series sidewall. The RS gets you a 19 inch wheel. It looks better but the 45 series sidewall is not as soft on the ride.

Is it adaptive cruise? I just picked the ls up a week ago, and i dont believe it does, ill be pleasently suprised if im wrong though.

Good review. Enjoyed your analysis. After giving this a lot of thought, if I purchased one it would be a Trailblazer LS or LT. Not sure which engine. Being elderly I appreciate the higher-up height of the Trailblazer, easier to enter/exit vehicle.

Thanks Dave. I have a Trailblazer RS with the bigger engine coming up Thursday.

I brought a new 2025 LS FWD 1.3 cacti green Trailblazer home recently. I got the blind spot and remote start packages on it. I really like it, so far. My first car was a 1973 Chevy Nova used. I wanted another Chevy new, when I turned 65.

How about trailering ability?
@chabbysrides3 ай бұрын
Not much. Lifestyle hitch, like a bike rack and such only.

You might be able to pull one down a steep hill.

They are rated at 1,000 lbs. max it isn't much but it still has that capability, & that is only with the optional 1.3 awd.
