Thank you. I wanted to know what the differences were and you have delivered. It's almost impossible to do this on the Chevy website. Very good presentation, no bs fluff, just the facts.

Just picked up the 2025 in galaxy grey with the comfort and convenience pkg and safety pkg in AWD. $40590 MSRP. Loving it so far.

Congrats! That should be just like the black one in this video. That price point is probably where the Equinox is competitive with others on the market.

I have been shopping for these and was expecting dealers to really be pushing the 24's but I honestly feel like the 24 vs 25 prices are fairly comparable -- which surprises me. You would think that dealers would really try to get the 24's off the lot.

Thanks so much! To me, the LT w/ Comfort & AS2 looks like a great combination, depending on how comfortable the front passenger seat is. And the lack of roof rails could be a problem for those 1-2 times a year. Perhaps 3rd party brands will have alternatives for that.

There are some articles mentioning that the Bose speakers are on some trims but then some other articles saying thst Chevrolet decided to avoid the Bose speakers on all trims. Do you mind clarifying? And for future videos please include the sound system. It is important for a lot of people and not many reviews include this.
@CarsMadeSimpleАй бұрын
There is no premium sound system available on Equinox. The Blazer EV has an available Bose system but only on RS RWD and upcoming SS.

@@CarsMadeSimplebut how does it sound? Good? Bad?

@@chocmaus I don't love their standard audio systems. It's fine but if you at all enjoy listening to music with quality or loudly, its not good.

You missed showing the 12V power outlets that I believe it has. I guess I'll find out when I pick up my RS on Thursday. Thanks.
@CarsMadeSimple9 күн бұрын
I believe it has one throughout the vehicle. I recall seeing comments online about it either not having any or just one. It's been a while since I have been hands on with the Equinox EV.

@@CarsMadeSimple Thanks I eventually found other reviews that show one up front in the lower console storage area, and one in the back cargo area on the driver side wall.

Chevy has made owning an EV more realistic. It is a step in the right direction. Now remember, EV's in the end should be cheaper than Gas cars but the batteries are keeping the prices up. These need to drop another 10k to be main stream.
@robtangent4664Ай бұрын
The price of a mid trim Chevy Eq is cheaper than an average gas car now even without the $7,500 tax credit, while the base trim Equinox LT is only $27,990 with the tax credit. The average price of a new gas car in the US in 2024 is around $47,790, according to Cox Automotive. All real world info you can check.

@@robtangent4664after all taxes and registration I paid 30K for my 2025 EQEV can't get a decent ICE car for that

I actually prefer the base trim, but I need those roof rails! So if I buy this car I'll have to get the higher level trim I guess.

Has anyone home charged an Equinox FWD yet? What was your highest range so far? KiA evs have a 77 kwh battery pack that ranges 340-360+ in RWD (hi-est range in June 388)

The Cadilac Optiq is also about $55k and is essentially a rebadged Equinox EV. I'm curious to see how the fully loaded $50k Equinox compares to the base $55k Optiq. Might be worth just going for the Cadilac at that point
@CarsMadeSimpleАй бұрын
That's a good comparison that's worth a look. I'll check into that but yes the Optiq is around that price and really doesn't have a ton of options.

You would be getting the base trim then and the Equinox would have more features at 52k.
