I had a 2020 as a co car. It’s a great everyday driver even on highway cruising at 80mph. Rear will hold a bicycle with wheels on, rear seats folded down.

Your review was a lot more fair on the Equinox than others I've seen. The Equinox is a lot better than I thought it would be. I wish the engine was a little better than the 1.5 and dislike the CVT (a personal preference), though it didn't sound as coarse in your driving portion as others I've heard. I'd probably opt for the AWD just to get a regular automatic transmission. The "floating roof" design is OK - seems to be a trend right now. Also, I too would like it to be manufactured here vice Mexico. Overall a good review.

175 hp for an suv is puny. It's a decent vehicle and previous Equinox suv's have been GM bread and butter, I read. The 2025 redesigned Equinox will probably keep the record for GM. Having to go through menus, pressing buttons to find basic functions is something I'll stay away from. It's nice and good looking though, but seemingly nothing special. You do objective reviews and the Equinox is no exception unlike other reviewers of the same vahicle.

test drove and didn't purchase. Engine is a dog, laggy shifting CVT, poor fit and finish, weird sounding AC, noisy ride, horrible glare on screens. center console is too high. Put the 2.0 turbo inner and come see me after growing pains.

Looks nice. Fit and finish appear to be very good. I'm skeptical about the powertrain, though.
