It's been awhile since owning a Darton. I'm definitely going to try this one out 31 or the 33 model, that bow is fast for a 35 inch bow and i already seen its accuracy at a 100 yards without 2 lbs of stabilizer and weights. His son picked out the camo he is a disabled veteran. Great review.

I just got one. Love it. 28.5 dl 65 lbs 291 fps with 384 grain arrow. Super smooth. I normally never shoot above 60 lbs as an old guy. I kept creeping it up till it felt right and ended up at 65. Mass weight is spot on and not to heavy compared to competitors. Similar to my Lift 33. The strings are stabile and shoot able. Great video

I don't shoot a Darton bow, but I liked the way you did your review! From a regular shooter!!! We have a gent on our side of the boarder (Canada) Lukas from Archery Talk and he dose's much the same and tells you what it shoots, feels like NOT what he like's or what it should be like. A down to earth good review. It lets other listen to what you feel and stuff and we can make a " I mite want to try that bow" decision

How is the string angle with the long riser and big cams? Loving everything I'm seeing here and looking to upgrade from my Mathews V3X 29

@@johnnewcomb5162 for me the bow fits me very well. I’m a 28in draw so my sweet spot for bows are 31-33 ATA. I went with the 31 for ground blind hunting. I have a Mathews Phase 4 29 and this 31 feels a little better for me string angled wise

It’s new bow season! Darton is looking good. I want to see that limb pocket tuning feature in action.

Chinese bow manufacturer Topoint introduced this system in its "reliance 38" medel already 5 years ago. Darton has not invented anything new in this regard.

@@krystiantester5050 Screw China. This is an American made bow with American workers and Darton is REALLY improving their market share with these newer bows. It’s a great direction for Darton.

@@drewolm The problem begins when you need to get replacement parts for these "American" bows in Europe. Either they are unavailable, or the cost of importing from the U.S. is unprofitable. They can then be treated as disposable junk. 😉

So I shot that one and I shot the elite exalt 35 I also am very biased toward long axle to axle I think of a lot more people shot at longer axle to axle they would understand why there's each bow has different things such as the elite exalt has quarter inch draw length adjustments and has the set technology but it don't have nothing to do with the timing now the sequel does and it has half inch in increments and draw length I'd really love to see it have 1/4 inch and then an adjustable draw stop that you can move but the bow and arrow was absolutely amazing

The timing tuning system is neat, should be stronger than bowtechs. The limb tuning, eh, seems clunky, can it be locked down? I don't like how tou have a screw sticking out that's gonna catch things.
@peterpizzurro2 ай бұрын
Look at that riser! I doubt that little screw is going to catch more than the million cut-outs in the riser.

@lkoehn97273 ай бұрын
Do you realize how much stronger a riser mounted rest is if you would ever drop the bow.
@InsideOutPrecision2 ай бұрын
The thing is, a pic mount does absolutely nothing. Moving the mount to the front of the bow means you then have to move the windage block back the other way, meaning the balance doesn’t change whatsoever

@the_sharp_carpenter28 күн бұрын
Yes, their bread and butter for the past few decades was holding patents and collecting royalty checks from most of the other manufacturers, now they decided to bring it in-house and make the bows themselves and make a push at bow sales and competing in the flagship space.
