Your miles per gallon are off on your video. My hybrid locking the cruise control at 80 on the highways in New Mexico consistently gets 38 miles per gallon in town. I consistently get 66 miles per gallon. We also have the 2 liter gas 8-speed In the driveway, locking the cruise control at 75 on trips across New Mexico. It consistently gets 26 miles per gallon. Both trucks are phenomenal comfort of the car convenience of the truck. If we needed something bigger we would just rent it for the one time in our life that we had to move 7,000 lb or haul nine people which will probably be never.

See. They are already starting to do it. Just leave it alone. What we were looking for is a simple affordable truck. Stop trying to add more features that will raise the price. Keep it simple Ford.

Great point! The Maverick’s simplicity and affordability are what made it so popular. Hopefully, Ford keeps that focus in future updates.

Ford Motor has to be the "poster boys" for dumbass moves ! You started out with a small user friendly truck beginning at a decent base of $20,000 and just cannot control your selves that more is better, (NOT !) Why in the Hell do you think you have thousands of unsold F150's sitting on dealers lots gathering rust and dust ? Think price has anything to do with it ? Naw, can't be that.
