@ericbryant7963 ай бұрын
The Mav doesn't have a starter, its directly connected to the E-cvt so the internal electric motor starts the engine...and does so very quickly as it can spin it much faster than a typical starter. It is pretty much seamless compared to a conventional start-stop system. Also there is no alternator, no drive belt, tensioner or idler pullies on the engine to replace.

Tow ratings aren't at all about horsepower or torque. Ratings are about brakes, cooling, suspension and the ability of the drivetrain to endure the work without self destructing. Trucks in the 1970s and 1980s had much higher tow ratings with similar or less power.
