We have very similar taste. I love the cover that you chose. 😍Thanks for your suggestion about the monthly layout- Brilliant idea! The only thing I am concerned about is I would need two sets of budget packs. I’m really hoping they offer this. I was looking for a budget planner on launch day, but it looks like they are not offering a dated one for 2025 😢. I have been using their dated budget planner for several years, so this was super disappointing for me. But now that I have seen the way you were able to create a custom one, maybe this could be the solution to my problem. 🤔 I will have to see if they allow multiple budget packs so I could have the full 12 months. You are so welcome! Whenever there is anything new, I like to be the guinea pig for everyone if I can be! I've passed on the feedback about being able to buy additional 6 month specialty packs, but the more people that speak up the better! I hope it's something they add to the website somehow!

I am SO happy I went with the custom planner for next year! I'll be using it for my work planner and being able to choose my cover, my layout, my discs.. it all worked out perfectly! I ordered before knowing the dividers were separated and that was just icing on the cake! Great video.. I can't wait for mine to come in and put it together. It shipped yesterday! Eeeeek!

They really nailed it, being able to get your own planner as you want it, for the same base price as a normal planner on the website! Thank you so much for putting this out ASAP! 💕 I would LOVE to see them move to this format for most of their planners. Anything that has neutral guts should be a no brainer. The double sided dividers with the monthly landing pages are everything!! But I have a long list of wants for this to make it perfect. I want: 🔹Big and Mini sizes also 🔹both checklist and non-checklist style horizontal layouts 🔹teacher layout 🔹faith layout (even undated, if quantity sold is a concern) 🔹faith cover/divider set as an option 🔹to not have to choose a calendar layout, but be able to only choose extension packs 🔹the ability to order double extension packs (meaning 2 of the same kind, in case you want a whole year) 🔹separately sold extension packs (so you can get more if you try it for a while and like it) 🔹to be able to zoom in to see everything while on a computer (this is an issue in other areas of their site too) 🔹change the dates offered twice a year (so January start in Fall and July start in Spring), which maybe they already plan to do If they made a good half their planners customizable this way, I think they’d increase sales (so so easy to get everything you want!). I don’t know their business model or details, but I could see where it could decrease cost potentially too. I almost got one, even though I use a Big, because they’re so nice. Kudos to HP for this!

Whoah such good feedback! It seems like they started with the most popular (best selling) size and layouts, so perhaps if this does well, they'll move in this direction! If you haven't done so already, I highly recommend emailing customer service with your list! GREAT suggestions!

The Budget monthly view could be used for each day bills are due or you could put a monthly meal plan on the dates.

Oooo that’s the pretty alcohol ink one!! Hmmmm….if plastic, I’d go with clear so the colors pop. If upgrading to metal, I’d go with gold as it’s both a neutral and it matches what I think is some gold foiling on the front. I think black is too harsh and the other colors would be too much color up against the inky dividers! But please follow your gut! I’d hate if you took one of my personal preferences and it didn’t work for you!

I’m so with you about the dividers being blank (no layout) I love we can finally reuse them without having to diy them. The only thing I’m slightly bummed about is, it’s a 2025, buutttt ifi do an extension pack I can start as soon as I get it, few months to throw in & taaddaaa boom I’m cookin Update YYYAASSSS 2 extra months no need for extra months!!!! Regardless it’s in my cart n I’m dying to check out 😂🤣😂

I think the people unhappy with the cover designs need to think of this as more of a be happy box, with the individual elements able to be mixed and matched with existing covers and disks in your collection. It really is a good price for a bundle like this.

I bought the Happy Plans cover with the dashboard layout, the happy Brights companion, the vertical extension pack, and the budget and fitness add on with a bunch of stickers. Also upgraded to metal discs

Holy smokes, they did a good job. Ive always said that even in store this is how they should have offered their planners. It would have taken up less space. But a true pick and match, with the exception the specialty planners like Disney and such. You could buy just a part or the full set. The full set planner price would just be a ticket or program code that says you bought the 3 things... discs, cover and insert I didn't see where you could order the second half of the add on extension pack to get a full year or order 2 of the same extension set❤❤❤❤ You did a great job with the demo and setup. Love it. My frankenplan style would add the main budget at the back, BUT pull the week or month needed forward to the current month. I like to keep all that need for the week together.

They really did great with the navigation on the webpage and how everything is packaged! I suspect that if it does well, they’ll grow how it’s done and maybe sizes too! I don’t know if they’d ever do it in stores….interesting idea!!

It would be amazing if in the future they do offer the opportunity to buy a year's dated inserts separately. Like you could build your own like this or you could choose to skip a step and reuse old dividers or your own disks. Or even add extras and buy additional sets of dividers or covers.

Hi. First, you're so pretty. I got the turquoise floral with the glitter gold disc. I then got a dashboard extention pack. I wanted two. But you can only get one set of each. Which makes no sense. You should be able to get extra ones or different layout. You can only get the one layout that goes with your layout and one set of that extension pack. You can't get half a vertical and half a horizontal for example. I got a dashboard extension pack. So I got the planner, a extension pack , another different extension pack,and expander disc. So I can either put all of that together for a two year planner. Because I have the 2026 calendar in the planner already. Or break that up into two different planners.

Aw thank you friend!! This is good feedback for Happy Planner - if you haven't done so already, make sure you email customer service! I think folks should be able to purchase additional packs a la cart, so perhaps they'll move in that direction if the custom planner site goes well. We'll just have to see where this goes!

Elizabeth, I would insert your budget pages at the end of the daily to do lists of the monthly layout. So, after the page at the bottom that says "don't forget". Turn that page, then inserts your budget month. That way you can glue just a regular note page to the right side of the budget calendar page that you won't be using. This way, you will still have all of your daily to do lists from the monthly layout, and only "wasting" a note page, which I am sure you have access to a thousand of, that you can add in if you need one. Does this make sense? I hope, LOL

Wow! I already ordered my new planner. I wish I had chose a custom planner but I am happy with the one I picked. I picked Sketchy floral. I think that's the name. It is neutral so I can choose any color or style on my spread. Ty for showing us how to pick a custom one❤

I am really hoping they will listen and do a teacher format with the days at the top and a blank sidebar or boxes for categories as that’s the layout I use. I know you have mentioned this before and even came up with a name for it! Please mention it again. Thanks for doing the flip. You can’t really judge it on screen as they don’t show everything. Love the blank page with the month on it and finally double sided dividers. Hope they roll this out to all planners!

My main gripe with the custom planner is that I wished there were options for plastic/metal expander discs, especially if you're going to purchase additional extension packs.

Hi! I think they're starting out with the basic best sellers, in planner size, disc size, and layouts! Perhaps in the future if this does well, they'll offer even more options! While it may not work for everyone, the extension packs are 6 months of planning pages, and one whole pack WILL fit on the classic planner discs. So I think they were wise to start out with the max number of pages for the classic discs, just to get us started :) Definitely let HP know you'd like more disc size options!

It doesn't get the public love and attention from HP that it should, honestly. ❤ Do you know if you order multiple extension packs if the dividers will change from the top tab? I ordered the budget and meal planning packs to go with my monthly, so I'm wondering if the meal planning tab will be second tier or still a top tier🤔 Also, would you mind asking the HP Powers that Be if they are going to release a punch for the twin loop line? I *really* want a monthly layout for that line too, but I will take a punch so I can make my own inserts.

Hi! I don’t think the divider tab location will change on each extension pack if ordering more than one, as everything was pre-packaged based on layout and I can’t imagine the warehouse having that many variations to pull from. They’re likely all at the top spot but I could be wrong! I would also love to know if a twin loop punch is coming!

I ordered the monthly layout for my custom happy planner. When I put my planner together I found an error. First page of March is August. HP makes it very hard to get hold of them and resolve the issue. They kept asking for photos of March and more of August. Then they just told me they’d get back to me. I don’t know why I’m telling you all of this except you should go back and check your monthly layout. I used your link and ordered mine. I hope yours is perfect.

I think they are testing this out in their most popular size, and if it does well, they’ll open it up to other sizes! We’ll just have to see if it’s a success or not!
