I have a 2024 CRV Hybrid. City driving around 680 km. Highway driving around 7.6 litres per hundred km. The vehicle is amazing smooth, elegant and solidly built. I recommend. There is no spare tire but has a system in board to repair small holes in tire.

Just noticed last night that backing up in the rain it's very hard to see behind in the mirrors, especially with the already dimmed blurry backup camera shining brightly in the display. I wish cars had brighter back-up lights.

I bought the sport touring 2025 and the extras are worth the money. The heated steering wheel is 360 degrees and a great feature. I live in the mountains so my average mileage is 34, but it is a great car with a smooth, quiet ride . You can put it in sport and have a little bit of fun. I have 5000 miles. Have not been back with any issues.

Great review Andrew. decided not to buy turbo model as all turbo engines have too many problems. Would have liked you to have gotten more technical with the electric part of the drivetrain , can you go all electric? how much control of the system do you have? Thanks

I bought this same one 2 months ago, my question is should I always drone in Econ mode? Or is there a certain condition where is is more beneficial? I have kept it in Econ since the purchase but all I can think about is the battery last for approximately 100,000 miles. At least that is what I was told. Please advise and thank you

It’s fine to drive it on Econ mode but I would turn it off when driving up hills or heavy traffic. I personally would stay in normal but it’s fine either way

I would never purchase a small SUV for towing. Many people think "I can tow up to 1000 lbs" and not consider what they are packing in the towed trailer and what's packed in the vehicle, so they go way above what the actual allowed tow weight. This is ultimately hard on the engine and transmission and brakes. I would rather have a larger capacity SUV or a truck that has a higher towing capacity and safer as well.

I have owned many CRV's. Traded my last one on a Acura RDX 2021. Well that lasted 4 years, used to much gas and was noisy. Bought the CRV EXL (Canadian model) love it. Got to be the best Honda I have ever owned. Cut my gas consumption in half.

Great review Anthony. That really is a nice SUV and the mileage is so good. Honda has really evolved the CRV nicely. It's funny because I was thinking about the Santa Fe when you rolled up on that one lol. In that price range you just get so much more with one of those. Hydrogen? I've just heard little blips about it but I never thought it would happen so soon! It's sitting at 100 here again but luckily the power is working so I don't have to go for another AC drive 😁How are things on your side? Hopefully it's even a bit cooler. I've got a pesky neighbor too but I'm like you and do not let her steal my happiness. Life is too short for that. Hope all is going well for you and happy Saturday Anthony

Thank you James. Honda is a great brand but I agree Hyundai has moved up so much with better pricing and I’m sure it’s not for everyone but whether a person likes it or not it awesome value. Hydrogen is starting around Europe but I don’t think we will be going that route until we go through this ev phase lol or our government has lobbyist to push for it. That’s hot and it has become in the high 90s here. It’s good all the electric and ac are working for you as I hate to say but it’s hard to live without ac. Today I’m finishing up the shiplap, had to fix my outside fence and put up another ceiling fan. Had to cut it a little short on the livestream today to catchup a little. Happy Saturday James

I'm sure there are those against it just like the EVs but we have got to try and undo at least some of the damage we've done to the planet in the last 100 years or so. @@jameswalsh6131 I am all for hydrogen. I like how much cleaner it is, we don’t have to mine lithium and go away from gas. I like ev but like I said in the livestream, they will never be classics and we will always have to replace them. With hydrogen we can go cleaner and no company complain about anything. For 40,000 I’d rather get a Ford Explorer active or the ST line. It has three rows it’s wider it’s longer and it’s a better drive. I lose out on gas mileage, but at least I wouldn’t have a hybrid battery to deal with.

I had to replace my '17 Mazda CX-5 last May and decided on the '25 Honda CR-V Sport L. It seemed like the perfect blend of Honda reliability, mpg, and features without a lot of frills I'll never use. I like it- nice to drive (not as much fun as my CX-5, though) great on longer roadtrips, backseat comfort, cargo capacity in a clean package. Now, if the CX-5 ever comes in a hybrid, I'll have to give it a hard think- loved my Mazda.

Thank you for the great review! I have to admit tho, I have had about 4 Honda Crv. It’s definitely my go to car, my last one was over 350k miles and drove better than some cars at 100k. I have to admit them changing the interior has me struggling to purchase a new one. I do not like the shifter down below put it back up on the dash, the touchscreen I don’t like popping out of the dash into the windshield, I feel as if you lost a lot of older customers like this. Honda crv was known as a soccer mom car these changes make it no longer family friendly. If they want a more updated sport car they need a pilot or accord! Leave the crv and civic to family friendly.

The 10inch all Digital dash should be standard. This half digital half analog is an eye sore. Why do all the European models have the new gen dash and the US/Canada models have the old style instrumentation cluster. The primary reason why I didn’t buy it. I own the Sport Touring Civic and love the new gen instrumentation cluster and cannot go back to the old version.

I hate the civic because it doesn’t have a a 12.5 digital display like the Honda accord Turing and sport. The accord is the only car from Honda that’s all new gen .

Hi, the european modells are build in China as far as i know and the cars are better equiped/speced/more or better features but the prices start at nearly 50.000 Euro and not US 37.000 DOLLAR! And we dont have the ACURA brand over here so the Hondas habe to be higher quality! Honda Europe doesnt sell very well and they will work with NISSAN, so Infiniti failed, Lexus does sell well but for the ACURA brand there will be no market!

I will! But, I'm leaning toward the Touring Hybrid I saw right after yours, so I got to compare. I like the Bose speakers, two-tone seats, and something else I can't remember 🤪 Anyway, I'm going tomorrow for a close-up inspection, etc. I'll let you know. Any final advice? Thanks! @ call first as almost every hybrid has a recall so they will not let you drive them till they are fixed. Check this trim and the exl hybrid both give a lot of value and if they have a sport touring see if they will work a deal. Most dealerships only keep one or two of them so they may do a better discount. Good luck

Hi Hawkeye. Well, I did buy the CRV Touring 2025 almost a month ago after seeing your video and another of the touring edition. It's got four features that I liked. Seat heater; which I'm now using every morning, sunroof. two toned seats, Bose speakers, musical cues. automatic seat adjustment, and probably more I haven't discovered yet. Getting 40 MPG and I feel luxe!!! Thank you for your video when I was ready to buy!!!

Adding a 3rd row in a CRV, isn't a huge con since the leg room would be extremely tight and it would sacrifice leg room. Although Hyundai is a very compelling choice for it's hybrid and the overall appearance/ cargo space of the SUV.

Because of the price I think it is as Honda could add one without losing too much legroom in the rear. I know it would be a smaller 3rd row but look at the VW Tiguan, Hyundai Santa Fe or even the Mitsubishi Outlander.

I like Honda interior, drive and how quite it is. Toyota hybrid system I like better, mpg and it can be a little more rugged. Shop both to see which is a better deal as either of the two you can’t go wrong with. Because Honda has refreshed the interior and exterior a few years back I would go Honda.
