There is just one letdown: the 9-inch screen. They are probably going to change it to a 12-inch screen next year. However, the price is going to be higher. I would settle for the smaller screen and get some major discount since there are some recalls from the previous few years of other models. I think the third year for the pilot should be safer to buy now. It is a do it all perfect size SUV(grand highlander is too fat), good old v6 engine, easy-to-use seat adjustment, and many useful standard features. I'm getting the touring trim dark blue with gray interior.

The black pillars and ceiling are very cave like on the Black edition. Check the elite which has light gray interior, more spacious and open feeling with all the same features

That’s a really strange thing to nitpick about on a family SUV. Plus, it’s a honda… you’ll probably only ever open the hood to replace the windshield wiper fluid.
