Dan, I hope you enjoyed your trip. I once went from Vancoooooouver to Whistler in a Corolla GT-S aka AE86. Having said that, nobody appreciated how cool those things were for another 20 years. 😉

I respond to this from my desk that proudly has two AE86 models on display! I've wanted one since I was a teenager, but the so-called "Takumi Tax" from the popularity of Initial D has sadly left it out of reach.

@@danilika9420 Like a lot of things, we took them for granted. 5-6 years after my visit to Lotus Land, a coworker gave me a lift in one. At the time I was more impressed by the fact she could drive a manual than with the car itself. 😵

Nice video , but overall pricing in this economy , you will see none of them on the road , this is a major price hike compared to the old model.. pricing will need to be slashed like crazy to sell.
