finally infiniti's putting investment in their lineup

Infiniti made great cars. I owned an Infiniti M35 and loved it. The VQ series V6 was reliable and had no issues. I was hoping they’d bring back the Q70 with the QX80’s power train. With the QX50/55 using a VC turbo four cylinder paired with a CVT and the QX60 ditching the V6 in favor of the VC turbo for the 2025 model year, the QX80 is the only desirable vehicle in their lineup.

Infinities have always looked nice it's just a matter of reliability

I've read this is the most reliable SUV in it's class. That along with the V8, is one of the reasons this has been one of their best sellers despite overall sales dropping from the rest of their lineup.

I’ve never heard of any reliability issues with the QX80

Lmao reliability was the main reason why people chose a Infiniti over its German competitors 😂

NICE CAR

It's an impressive car, but the problem is, by the time you're spending $100k on a new car, you're dealing with consumers who have actual "class" - as opposed to a head-of-household who just got a promotion and is going to get, say, an MDX - something nice for a self-made person. At $100k, that segment of the market is going straight to the Europeans - or maybe Lexus - the Acura/Infiniti/Genesis/etc kinds of brands aren't on the list.

All the other reviews I've seen says it's not as a smooth ride as the others in the on body suvs and it felt more truck base

There’s no way a vehicle with active air suspension drives like truck. I’ve driven my fair share of pickups, none of them drive like the QX80

From what I've seen the reviewers that mentioned it said it rode firmer than some of the competitors, not necessarily truck like. Yet others said it rode smooth...
@AJ-bh7vm5 ай бұрын
@@bigd7386 Most of those reviewers are bias. If you were to put a BMW badge on this, they would be saying how great it rides. I noticed a long time ago about reading car reviews/watching videos, that there is so much bias and the need to fit in. Infiniti talked a lot about how great this vehicle rides and they know what they are talking about, they paid special attention in making this vehicle ride as smooth and sporty as possible. Currently this is best riding body-on-frame, full-size SUV. I test drove one and have also driven the others' current generation. The upcoming Navigator and Escalade driving dynamics are going to be almost identical as the current ones, because they did minimal to nothing new on their suspensions.

@@AJ-bh7vm Oh trust, I'm very much aware of the bias in the reviewer/press community. Nissan/Infiniti is the current punching bag of the industry and no matter what they do, they get dragged. No one will acknowledge the fact that apparently broke Infiniti built a better luxury SUV than Lexus on every front. I've noticed that instead of people simply saying it's nice giving Infiniti its props, they'll give a back hand compliment like "it's nice but no ones going to pay that much for an Infiniti." But like you said, if there was any other badge on it they'd be raving about it.

Definitely no benchmark. Interior looks cheap and oddly put together. Also the front is hideous and back is the worst styling I’ve seen yet 🤷♂️
