I just hope people actually clean the carpets. For real. It is usually so gross, especially with pets. It’s a nightmare for allergies, too. When I see carpet I just cringe in most real life situations because I don’t know anybody who cleans it regularly. I have the same reaction when I see skirted sinks. Eeew.
