Just leased and drove 1000 miles on a vacation. Had a durango, which was great. But this smaller suv fits the bill. No complaints so far. Much better mpg, about 28 consistently on the road at 70+ mph.

I had a Wrangler with the same engine/transmission combination. The ZF transmission is excellent. It's probably the best on the market today. The 2.0t engine is very peppy in the Wrangler, so I imagine it's even more so in the Compass.

It is a peppy SUV. ZF makes great transmissions. Thanks for tuning in and the feedback 👍

How come it's coming with zero option although it is the highest trim

VERY nice review. My compliments! One question though: considering that many commenters here in KZbin whine about the Jeep line in general being unreliable and not dependable and upon buying one it will be parked more so in the dealer's service department than actually driven do you still recommend the Compass as a worthwhile buy, from your perspective? When you can please inform . I'd like to know what you, a well respected auto reviewer, has to say about those issues. Many thanks, and btw: happy holidays friend. 🙏🏹👎

Seems decent overall but competes in a very intense market. Not much to dislike,If you drop AWD, still more than a base Tucson or Sportage. Incentive here is a heavily discounted price, knowledge that dealer has good service, etc. Also not the distinctive ""coolness" of the new Kicks, for example. Kicks is also cheaper..

I thought this car had the sunroof?
@secondmouse945818 күн бұрын
No deal unless I can get a spare tire as an option and a sunroof delete or a lower trim line measures up that doesn't have the sunroof, I am 6' 2" and the sunroof surround takes away too much headroom. Does this have an option for a HomeLink garage door opener? If not, another deal buster. Not thrilled with fake leather seats either, prefer cloth or real leather. I don't know why, other than cost, most OEMs are going away from real leather seats, I guess maybe the PETA crowd doesn't know that leather comes from dead cows that weren't raised for their hides, the hides are a by-product of an already dead animal, so when you make seat coverings out of them you are actually using more of your resources, like the Native Americans used to do. Would like to see your reviews go out on the freeways so we can hear wind noise, witness stability and engine noise , etc. getting up to and at highway speeds. Good review.
