That was fun! I've rented so many Corollas. Yes, the interior is cheaped-out and the driving experience is pure econobox. Plus, every time I spend more than an hour in a Corolla (driver or front seat passenger), my back begins to ache terribly; they have the worst seats for comfort and support! On a positive note though, the Corolla is certainly a reliable car with amazing resale value.

The Corolla has been around for 12 generations, best selling car in automotive history worldwide. Legendary pedigree. The current generation has been around since 2020 so it's considered senior in automotive terms. K4 has only just been released. Long term reliability and longevity still up in the air. Most cars last longer if you maintain them properly, My 2016 Sorento is now over 110K with 0 issue and I can see it going over 200K easy, I also have a Telluride. My friend has a 2010 Santa Fe that has over 450K. Also a person I know had a newer V8 Tundra which he neglected to maintain properly resulted in engine blowing up 🤷🏾

Exactly right..my 2024 Forte GT is in the body shop from a deer strike and the rental I'm driving is a Corolla..the Corolla is no way as nice as my 2024 Kia Forte GT....the interior, infotainment system, seats, trunk space, and especially the engine power all go to the Forte GT...even with the 30 extra hp the Forte gets the same mileage as the Corolla. Those that keep knocking Kia havn't driven the latest Kia..what do people think, that Kia doesn't refine and fix the issues they had from the past..all car companys have had some problems before...even now their are still recalls with Honda's and Toyota's

Working with rentals, i can confidently say corollas are not reliable as they used to be. I would much better buy 2010 corolla then 2024.
