Thanks for the review. I thought at this age and time, LED headlights would be standard.

Kia has problems with getting complicated headlight systems to work correctly. See the early Telluride base models. They used a single 9005 bulb for low and high beams. They use a mechanical device to reflect for the high beams. It does not work well, or at all. Recall has been issued. I’m sure you can replace the halogen with LED bulbs. LED looks good, and I love them, but they don’t seem as reliable as halogen, where Kia is concerned.

This EX Soulmate trim is an update version of the former X-Line trim.

I have the GT Turbo. I LOVE it. This does have a couple of features I’d like to have. I start mine from my phone. Love the new key remote start. But then, the 2025 doesn’t have heated steering wheel. I totally depend on mine in the winter. I like the styling a lot!

I like kias. My grams has been nothing but reliable and the all wheel drive in her seltos is just as if not better than Subaru it cut through everything last January 6th on the 45 minutes highway from hell ride. Some folks are still hung up on engine and transmission issues that haven't been relevant since 2018. Lol. They forgot about Toyotas frame rot issues or there head gasket blow ups or Subaru head gasket and horrible automatic transmissions. But now their the beta you can get sma with Hyundai and Kia plus most of there issues were with USA made models because it was a new facility and need to work out issues.

I'm looking into a forte, but we'll see, I haven't driven a soul so it's on the list my friend Cameron his mom has had hers for 8 years about 180k miles and nothing wrong she's driven it all up and down the way coast pa to ga Florida ext.

The 25 Kicks I think has gone up in price and moved more against the Seltos or Kona.

I just don't get it, why do they give only the option to have the LEDs and fog lights for the GT Line but not the EX considering it's the top trim?!?!

enjoying your vids, you do a very nice job. just a Viewer note: the camera angle blocks the view of the left side of the dash; was curious as to what the speedo looked like when moving... I can see the tach, but not the speedo. again, good job.

Nice ! I like it's not all wheel drive. With all wheel you'll need replace all 4 at the same time with how the driving sensor works.

The brakes are fantastic because the Soul is under 3000 lbs. A BMW 228 weighs like 400 lbs more. It would also explain the decent acceleration feel.

And the Soul pulled a 0.90g handling on the skid. Sport car handling despite having a rear torsen beam suspension while wearing all seasons tires on 18in wheels.

I love those seats, but they do not go with the exterior color. As the owner of a 2021 Kia Soul, the halogen headlights are one of the few weak points on the car. Also, the base LX has a technology package for only $500 that gets you the additional safety features on the S trim as well as alloy wheels.

I just bought the EX soulmate. 2 things bothering me. Headlights are weak and there is definitely road noise on highways. Crystal white with black roof with umber syntex interior.

Too bad the rear floor is not level I like long road trips but if I want to lay in the back for cat nap I’d be uncomfortable

I am a tall guy and I've always liked the look of the Soul and it has great seating for taller folks. Anyone currently own or have owned one that is able to comment on the reliability?

consumer reports gives it about a 7.3 reliability score on a 10 point scale.

I still have my 2011 Kia Soul 4u luxury and I love it. It’s almost 15 years old and the leather seats are still in perfect condition. Hauling cargo is just amazing for its size. I can fit 20 large Costco 102 Litre bins in it which plus my Costco order. Can’t say enough about it and the comfort is awesome. I’m hoping to replace it in about 3 years with a Kia EV3, maybe after the first refresh in case there are some bugs to work out and likely the batteries and all the technology will be a little bit better by then too.

No rear seat vents is a downer! I was interested in the 2025 Soul but a one engine option of only 147 horse power and no turbo available doesn't do it for me! Shame on Kia!

Only thing I don't like is the driver seat can't get comfortable
