I want to buy the car in Germany, but a more power wouldn't be bad. I've heard that the BT-50 is said to have only 186 hp. The performance of the current Ford Raptor R with all-wheel drive and automatic transmission would be perfect for such a beautiful pick-up.

Mazda hasn't revealed the specs and features for Australia yet, but we'd expect a similar line-up to what's available today with a choice of manual or automatic on the XT and XTR but auto-only on GT, SP and Thunder - but the line-up and options will be revealed earlt next year so we'll know for sure then.

I don't get this argument on more power, they aren't race cars. The current power plant is a solid towing power plant, reliable with good overtaking power.....in a drag race it matches the Hilux (150KW, 500Nm) 🤷🏿‍♂️

Doesn't look too bad style wise but I don't think it has that rugged look most 4x4 owners like. I am not sure why presenters tend to show th upscale model which looks better than the plain Jane lower specs. I notice the good old one colour interior of the lower spec. Overseas models seem to get so much more choice with interior colours. Australia always ends up with black or grey. So much more emphasis on a large badge which doesn't improve either the value or quality of the vehicle. I own a Mazda so don't call me a hater.

It will continue with a reversing camera on all grades, and add dynamic guide lines for the higher trim levels, but the final specifications won't be revealed until early next year as the launch gets closer.

They finally changed the girly , car looking front which looks better but it's the same sluggish and rattlely engine though.. 450nm is bottom of the class compared to its peers

It still has the looks of the older model ISUZU DMAX at the rear with the lights and tailgate bumber looks toooo cheap AND the steel they use for the door skins front and back get warped after

My neighbour owns the current BT50 and says it's the worst dual cab he's ever owned (he's owned quite a few). Issues are the incredibly noisy Isuzu engine and lack of performance...very slow acceleration. Steering is lazy and and handling is too firm and lacks dynamic feel. Said he can't wait to sell it 🤔
