The price of established dual cab Ute's is rediculas. I have never seen the use of them as I'm not a Tradie or Bogan. If I were to buy one, it would be a GWM Cannon around $40,000 on road.😊

Hey Matt, great review. I’m quite interested in a Bt-50 GT. For under $60,0000 at the moment driveway it makes for a compelling option, and for me it looks like the sweet spot in the range.

Its my belief Mazda are not doing enough to retain market. Just as they did on the ranger based BT50, ford kept development occurring, mazda just sat on their lorals, with same vehicle as originally released. They're doing similar with the Isuzu based vehicle. Isuzu have done updates, mazda still to develop or incorporate substantial Isuzu upgrades As per previous, sales went to ford instead and now sales will go to Isuzu unless they continue development. I don't believe for one moment Mazda Japan really cares about competing seriously in our market, we have this on offer, take it or leave it, ludicrous. GWM products looking really good in comparison, bang for buck with far better inclusions.
@therightcar4 ай бұрын
I understand your comments mate. Isuzu has done some work on D-Max, and yet in other markets there has been news of BT-50 being axed. However… stay tuned. There may be some updates coming soon!!

This channel reviews new cars. It's about whether you should buy them, not what they're like to own -- though I do cover off the ownership considerations for actual customers. There are used vehicle channels - like the one run by my mates, ReDriven, which could be useful for further due diligence. But honestly. I'd roll the dice on a Ranger, still.

@@therightcar - I did watch the Triton towing video, looks like you went on Bringelly / Greendale Road and yeah that is a twisty at best C grade road that is not a typical regional/rural road, that said I could be wrong on if that is the case Matt, I drive on that road with various cars for testing but not tow testing (as I have nothing to tow). That said people have said the new gen Triton is fine on the major highways for towing, re: Sydney to South Coast (Jervis Bay), some things like using sequential gear shift mode to lock in gears which works as it lets the engine do it thing with the new torque curve it has over the previous turbo ag engine. Could be worse you could have drive on Montpelier Dr from Mowbry Park entry to The Oaks (starts off at 100km/h drops down to 80km/h as you enter The Oaks), talk about a shoddy bumpy asphalt goat track, yes its fun in a car with great suspension but I took the Mach-E (the standard RWD version) for a test drive and I was vibrating at the end of the section drive from all the shudder, the old AU Falcon does it better, not joking.
