You guys are gold. Would be super helpful to have a review of dealers too, as they vary wildly depending on their management culture, from outstanding service through to criminal conduct. While a good dealer can turn in to a terrible dealer when sold, or upper management replaced, a shout out to the good ones, and a roasting of the crap ones would be most valuable to the consumer.

I brought my bt50 in march of 2021 it has now done 86000 kms and it has been great. Under waranty I had the software update done as my screen was rebooting itself and lost a couple of features and that was about 20000kms ago and it has been great since. The safety features mainly the aeb can be a bit overbearing but it has saved my bacon a couple of times when people have pulled out on me. I’ve had multiple other models such as the 3.2 ranger the mr triton and the colarado and the new bt50s definitely take the cake for an all rounder. It has towed 3 tonne on numerous occasions and handled it a lot better than my 3.2 did. One thing that gripes me about it is the gear changes it will climb to 3k revs before changing unless promoted to do otherwise where as my colarado changes at 2.5k and drives much better for it. If your on the fence about buying one I say go for it I love mine. Also I haven’t suffered the bump steer issue my tires have worn perfectly. Along with this my local Mazda dealer have been great to deal with.

I have the same issues. Haven’t done half as many kms as you. The safety braking is Bleddy annoying though. It braked hard on us going down a steep driveway once. Not sure if you have the same issue but sometimes it’ll stall for a second or two before deciding on what gear to go in. Was told by Mazda that it was a safety feature blah blah. I’m abit over it now to be honest. Love hate relationship for me

@Momosu-cx35 ай бұрын
If you really want to know, I work in a Mazda dealership currently. On the "UR" BT-50s (which are based on the PX chassis Ranger) it's just about everything on it goes wrong. Even a simple oil change can GRENADE THE ENGINE because if the oil pump happens to run dry (which is often found to be about 15 minutes between dropping the oil and refilling, sometimes less) it never picks up oil again and it comes to a screeching halt. On the automatic ones the shifter often breaks. Trim pieces are extremely low quality AND even the lug nuts are complete crap. If they're even slightly old they swell from 19mm to 19.5mm and become near impossible to remove. I hate them. utterly despise them. Worst utility vehicle on australia's roads today.

@tomnewham12695 ай бұрын
@@Momosu-cx3 it is a stupid design not to able to take longer than 10 minutes to change the oil but it is a simple solution, don't take that long. And everyone in the industry knows it is to be done within 10 minutes so if you are taking 15 minutes no wonder the engines are going bang in your workshop. In regards to the wheel nuts, just replace them with solid ones though again it shouldn't have come to that. Also if you are in the trade, you would know there is a socket set available with .5 mm increments for this purpose. Look the Ranger isn't perfect and definitely has its issues (another is the egr pipe) but they ride and drive better than the competition.

Hey no shame to your tiny little real coffees. However, you said it yourself, a large all black coffee is simply dessert... who doesn't like dessert? Now that's truly insane.

I went from a Hilux and then bought one of these brand new. Proper cheaply built shitbox, sold it a year later and couldn’t wait to get out of it.

I own one, and cant wait to get rid of it, its cheap and nasty, mechanically ok and good on fuel. Terrible turbolag. Dog shit resale value. Dont buy one.

I have a 2017 3.2L. I would never switch to this feminine looking redesign truck I'll just buy a other brand. Not a man truck. Especially when it comes to just a working class truck. This truck is for shopping and the salon not bad for the kids going beach and school
