I got the Platinum Quartz on my Mazda 3 and I’m real happy with it. Doesn’t show dirt or scratches as easily as the darker colors. It looks great with the tan interior too. I do think that Artisan Red is beautiful though. Thanks for posting! ✌🏻👍🏻✌🏻

I agree Mazda needs to add a bright blue. I have a Black 6, which looks great, and a Meteor Gray Miata, which is elegant, but a little dull. I've always been a silver guy, so that Platinum color is still my fave if I have to choose.

The forest green...with the terra cotta interior -- nice. I got a 2024 Mazda CX-50 TPP in the Zircon Sand + terra cotta -- gets A LOT of looks and people ALWAYS wanting to race me. Way back in the day, I had a CX7 in black cherry mica with a tan interior...one beautiful combo.

The Miata is absolutely crying out for a bright blue option, along with another bright color like a yellow or orange. It should definitely be offered in some sort of British Racing Green, so that Cypress Green from Toyota would be a natural. BRG on a Miata with a tan top and interior and bronze wheels is a no-brainer.

I love the Polymetal Gray Metallic. I drive a Mazda 3 Premium Hatch with that exterior & red interior. It's stunning! Next vehicle for me would be the CX-30 - i like the new Aero Gray or the Platinum Quartz Metallic - with white interior.

Jonathan, I love the Wind Chill Pearl of my new 2024 CX-50. It isn't just another white, but something different. It's the pearl in the color which makes it stand out. Also, regarding Artesian Red, it looks regal on the CX-90. While I'm not a big fan of the non-metallic grays, Polymetal Gray is the best. I think it has to do with the fact that I see some blue in the gray. Other grays from competitive brands either look too light, or have a greenish or brownish hues to them which doesn't look as good. I do agree that Soul Red Crystal Metallic is a fantastic color (my first four Mazdas were all that color). As for the Cypress Green, I have a neighbor with a Toyota Corolla Cross in that color and it looks great. I had years back a 1993 Honda "10th Anniversary" Accord in their special "Arcadia" Green which was another very nice green. I can see that Cypress Green being a great color for the CX-50. Oh, and yes, Mazda should bring back one of the lighter blues. Regarding the Zircon Sand, I find that while it looks great in print media, in person it looks darker, which to me isn't as good. My dealer says that he finds with most customers that it is a color that is a "love it or hate it" response.

I just bought a 2025 CX5 Preferred in platinum quartz. Very happy with the color, light is good in Texas heat, and bonus there was no extra charge for that color. There were some nice colors in the showroom, that new dark red is gorgeous and I liked the sand but think I'd tire of it. I do love the carbon grey but the Carbon Edition wasn't in my budget.

Exactly !!! Bring back. Right Blue. I have purchased 7 new Mazdas in the last 6 years. Really getting tired of there being just 1 appealing color.. Soul Red. Black plastic, fake vents. If I wanted that cheap crap I would buy an ugly Toyota or Honda. That awful new artisan red on the CX-90 reminds me of a blood or a large scab an a wound every time I see it.

Soul red crystal is my favourite on most Mazdas, but when buying my 2024 CX5 i just saw too many around in that color so I decided to get one in my second favourite color Zircon Sand Metallic. The Zircon Sand with the high gloss black trim, mirrors, wheels, and grill etc. looks absolutely fantastic. I’ve even received lots of compliments from complete strangers. Also got the terracotta leather seats on the inside so it looks great inside and outside.

I love the soul red from Mazda. I think that that color is the most beautiful color for Mazda. I just purchased a cx90 which I wanted in that beautiful soul red. However, I had to settle on a dark blue instead.

Very strange and interesting how color preferences can be so different (no one is wrong or right, just what each individual prefers). My list: 5. Black, 4. Artisan Red Metallic, 3. Deep Crystal Blue Mica. 2. Machine Grey Metallic, and still 1. Soul Red (more so on the sedan). For me all the Whites and Tan/Browns would be below 25 (if there were such choices). It is no wonder there are so many color choices from which to choose. I love this channel.

Machine Gray Metallic is one of my favorites. I am planning to buy a CX-5 Turbo Premium soon. That trim looks sharp in Machine Gray with all the glossy black wheels, grill, mirror caps, and etc.

My 3yo at the time daughter picked the color of our 2015 Ford Focus Hatchback for a 2nd car. I can still hear her saying with excitement “Daddy get the BLUE one !”. Blue Candy ! A very bright blue, that put a smile on your face every time. Manual transmission made it a blast to drive. Next had 2020 Kia Soul GT line with in bright blue with a red accent stripe. Beautiful, but drove like crap compared to the Ford, or any Mazda, so traded it for a Soul Red 2021 CX-30.

I love my Ingot Blue only CX-50 has this colour tone right? my top 1. Machine Gray top 2 Ingot blue... it's super easy to see a lot of scratches in red ones.

I just leased a 2024 CX-50 Preferred in Wind Chill Pearl. I love how when put next to a white vehicle it stands out. Also at night under artificial lights you can see the pearl effect of the paint.

The colors are great! However, Mazda uses the thinner water based paints! Thicker paint would be preferred. You have to wrap your vehicle, at considerable cost, if you want to protect the paint finish!

I agree with your top 4 own a cx9 in machine Grey, Mazda 3 in soul red and a cx70 in poly Grey. Certain models look better in different colors combination I think the bigger vehicles don't look as good in soul red as the platinum or poly Grey that's why I bought my cx70 with poly Grey with red interior best looking combination for that vehicle

G'day Jon, I'll give you my top five + Polymetal GrEy (because my 3 Astina hatch is this colour) Platinum Quartz Soul Red Aero GrEy Melting Cooper Zircon Sand White ( with black accents) sorry the cap E is tongue in cheek as it's the proper way to spell it ( hahahaha) We have Artisan Red, Rhodium White, Zircon Sand and Melting Cooper NOW on some selected models. Jon I totally agree about some new pastel bright colours, blue, green and maybe a out there colour like yellow, orange (50th Anni MX5) or even a mauve some of these colours would work on the MX5 or depends a SUV. I don't have the same liking for Machine grey as some people as I think it's a bit boring. Mazda Oz is offering three new colours for the new 2025 BT50, Red Earth, Geode White, and Sailing Blue metallics. Let's hope that the new blue on the BT50 ute isn't to dark. PQM looks so nice. Especially on that CX-5 Turbo with the black grille. I agree with you on Eternal Blue. I think it has been one of Mazda's weakest colors for years now. Black is also boring when you consider some of the stunning shades that Mazda offers. Ingot Blue is very mid. Great list.

Mazda is out of control with its colors. Keep deep crystal blue, machine gray, polymetal gray, a black, the dark red, soul red crystal, and a white. Dump everything else and save a ton of money in the process. Get a dark green, not like Toyota’s but like the Jeep Wrangler’s. Maybe get a yellow/mustard color for the fun cars and call it a day. Work on the exterior and interior color combinations. Offer a dark green exterior with a tan interior combination, for instance. How can the Miata not be available with Mazda’s red interior? Imagine the Miata with a polymetal gray exterior and a red interior. Or a black exterior on red or dark green exterior on tan or deep crystal blue on tan or mustard on black. Mazda could have an endless array of gorgeous exterior-interior color combinations.

YES!! Please bring back bright blue. Right now Soul red is the ONLY Mazda colour I like. White was tolerable on my 2022 Mazda 3 GT ( in Canada similar to USA PP trim ) because I had a Garnett Red leather interior. We sold 2 recent Mazdas because we couldn’t stand looking at the color any longer. Got rid of a 2021 CX-30 GT because of the awful cheap grey brown bits in the interior. YUCK ! Replaced it with a 2023 CX-30 GT in Polymetal with Garnet Red interior. Nope. Despite a hint of blue, Polymetal is still grey. The ugliest, most offensive, cowardly, tell the world you are boring as FK color. So it had to go, for our mental health. Now we have a 2024 CX-5 Signature in Soul Red. Ahhh. So Nice. I can even tolerate the black brown Napa Leather. I wish a saddle brown Napa like on the CX-90/70 was available instead. The CX-70 / 90 are too big for us, so looking forward to the next generation CX-5. Hope it’s not as downmarket as that awful Subaru wannabe CX-50 with black rubber everywhere, with fake plastic vents ugh. Even the CX-70 has cheap ugly black plastic vents. No class. Really hoping the next generation CX-50 is similar in size and appearance to the CX-60, sold outside North America.

Agree with the far too many non-colours (white and black and their combinations). But the orange on the 30th anniversary of Miata was not nice. I like orange a lot, but that shade is far below the gorgeous Red Soul Crystal I have on my Miata. Yes, Mazda needs more bright colours, it is an excellent marketing tool.
