This sounds like a suburu commercial knocking a competitor. Sure suburu is a good choice however I’m part of the Toyota Lexus family with very little issue.

@@67daltonknox "Wrenching With Kenny" a veteran mechanic said the other day that he didn't like CVTs but he thought Subaru units were good. We own three and zero issues, they are all '18s no probs.

@@67daltonknox The head gasket issue died with the EJ series engines Those engines are no longer produced, and haven't been for quite a few years.

I hope Toyota is not getting greedy the way FORD, GM and Chrysler went. On another note I think BOEING is getting greedy with all the problems they have had.

I'd never buy any hybrid anyway, but my 2022 RAV4 has taken us across the country and off road in Australia, it's a big country with lots of off road tracks, 36000 kilometres later and it's been great never missed a beat and we love it, , this ranting sounds like an old jealous ex boyfriend that realised the big mistake they made while going with another make and model 😂

@dgunearthed7859 unfortunately, while subarus are fun dailys, they don't last long. If you want a good awd, gr corolla is a good option, otherwise the, there are the elantra/veloster n, and the gr86.

We owned many Toyotas 98 4 Runner, 04 Highlander both assembled in Japan. Best two vehicles and lasted many moons that both kids droved them in high school and college. Now being assembled here in the US and the problems are numerous.

It doesn’t matter if RAV4 not better quality than Mazda or Subaru. I like RAV4 look. It’s a big deal. I drove 2008 RAV4 now I got 2024 hybrid. Love it.

This cable issue was fixed after 2019- 2022, and today it is no longer a problem. The issue was caused by a poorly designed cable connector. I understand that this video is actually a Subaru hype video.

Wrong. The issue has not been resolved. Here in Canada 2024 RAV4 hybrid and Prime owners are already seeing corrosion problems on their cable after only 1 winter. The new cable is an improvement but a minor one at best.

Toyota is a part owner of Subaru and Mazda, I doubt they would be trashing each other. Having 3 problem free Toyotas on my driveway and many friends and family that have high mileage ones, I find this video highly suspect. Sure the 1st year of a new generation might have some glitches, but those are usually found and corrected during the warranty period.

That all really just depends on the owner and how they use the vehicle and staying on top of maintenance schedule. One neglect and the vehicle will go kaboom!. Down the line.

I have a 22 RAV4 non hybrid. This guy in the ad is saying that the Subaru is better than the RAV4? The Subaru Forester has a CVT transmission. Wait until that rubber band pops. Let’s just see how long that’ll last in 10 years. I guarantee the RAV4 will still be going.

The cable connector has been a big thing in Canada and seems to relate to snow and salt.

It appears that the hybrid RAV4s are the main culprits. The conventional fuel models are not affected.

AND yet..the Rav plant in Woodstock, Ontario has tied for the NUMBER one spot in consumer satisfaction, IN THE WORLD. The cable mentioned above is covered under the hybrid warranty..just had mine replaced at NO cost.

Yes, Toyota does not like stepping up. My 2001 Tundra had bad brakes, essentially a design flaw. Worried about rear lock up, the rear drums do just about nothing, so the front discs got overheated and warped. Even though this happened to 1/3 of owners, Toyota refused to fix it.

Subaru Forester - seems not bad, but more offroad focused, not stylish, no hybrid engines. Mazda CX-5 - stylish, but no hybrid engines, technologically outdated in general. Honda CR-V - seems ok, but less fuel efficient due to the sequential hybrid system. Conclusion - I'd still go with the Toyota Rav4 as the most balanced option. - the best fuel efficiency among competitors - great exterior, quite ok interior style - a lot of premium features in higher trim levels - offroad capabilities are ok as for compact SUVs.

The major issues with Toyota started with the 2018 Camry. There was a big chance you'd get a bad 8-speed transmission. Toyota had to be sued to do something about the hard shifts right after it come out. That was just one of many problems for new Toyota products. They still can't get the transmission to work right in the new Tacoma. My 2020 Camry was the worst new car I've ever had. The Tundra wasn't the first set of bad engines for Toyota. They replaced tens of thousands of Camry engines in and around 2020. That's if a half-ass repair of putting block sealer behind the customers back didn't fix it. It turned me from a Toyota fan boy to someone who probably not take another chance with a Toyota.

If you have car problems in England & you have a Automobile Association membership or a Royal Automobile Club membership then you have good reassurance & a powerful legal & confident situation because either one of the above membership will advise you & can examine your situation either by words or by examination of your vehicle they're very powerful & carry much weight for justice for their members & that includes a thorough examination of any vehicle before you purchase that car or if you have a car with problems they will help you or if you have any legal problems to do with motoring they can if necessary represent the situation in court. They are the experts for the motorist.

If the 12V battery goes up/dead/flat.... When leaving the remote control key (Key Fob/keyless entry system) at home, it must be at least 3 meters(10feet) away from the car or the battery will run up. If the remote control key is brought within 3 meters, the elecric power system is activated (wakes up) and consumes the 12V battery. Or You put Faraday box to store the key. At any distance, the signal will be blocked.　　I am Japanese.

2023 Toyota Venza infotainment system Buffering the dealer unhooks battery to reset and that’s it the same issue not fixed or replacing faulty Infotainment unit!
