The 2-tone seats look weird, the E450 has better seats interior trim options I think. Also the E53 doesn't have airmatic, but the E450 does. And I feel like the E53 will weight 700 lbs more than an E450 so I wonder if it doesn't drive worse with all that extra weight. I have an E550 and I do like the new E-class, but I don't know if I could buy one because I'd lose the V8.

You bring up some great points - the new E-Class does have some trade-offs for its hybrid powertrain! And the V8 - can’t lose that power.

Waiting for mine to arrive in a month or two. The big thing that caught my eye was also the two tone interior. Especially when compared to the normal E series models where you can modify even more of the interior in the chosen color without being limited to the two tone seat color. I went with the gray/black seats (to me in every video it seems more like white than gray) From what I have seen from videos lately though it still looks decent with the choice I made but would have preferred something else. I asked if there was an E63 model coming but they didnt have any information about one. Though I would imagine it would still be way out of my price range even if they brought E63 to the line up. Can get a pretty decent house with the money some of the AMG models cost new. The E53 model caught my eye because of portion of tax was only 3,5k € rather than tens of thousans that it could be with the previous models. So I will HAVE to be happy without a V8 AMG :)

Not bringing the estate to North America is a total miss. Sedans are a hard sell these days with SUVs all the rage. It would have made more sense to bring the estate to our shores and not bother with the sedan.
