I agree with your comment on the 4-cylinder engine. I have the 2022 GLE 450 with the 6-cylinder. It's a big mistake that Benz adopted the 4 banger with this large heavy SUV. It just doesn't work as the engine is loud and annoying to get the performance you need in everyday driving. I would buy the GLE with 6-cylinder diesel and avoid the 4 banger as a second choice.

Unfortunately, the plug-in components add 900 pounds to this car so that’s a hard pass for me. I’ll just get a GLS at that weight.
