Great job Ian! I hope the Twins do nothing in FA. Because cOF is not a big need for the Twins. Signining a FA where it is not needed could mean trading away a player who we do need to pay for a FA we don't need. The real need is at least a mid-rotation inning eater to take the pressure off the rookies SP & BP. That should be sought in trade. If we do trade Paddack, & if we have extra money that money should go towards extending key players It should be illegal for LAD to claim Roki Sasaki.

Falvey's recent comments indicate they won't be a factor in FA, but they expect to be "very active" on the trade market. They'll likely scrounge through what inexpensive FA's are still available close to spring training (Solano & Santana the last 2 years). I agree with your take on finding a new mid-rotation SP and extensions. Given the announced sale of the team, extensions will probably be left until a new owner takes over.

As a Braves fan this is horrible! We shaved 20+ million of the books and all we sign is an aging starter, reliever worse than Minter who we lose, and don’t get a OF that can actually start! We already have Kelenic as a bench OF we need a starting OF!

The Phillies are not going to replace Rojas and Marsh with Bader and Verdugo. That’s marching in place. The Yankees are not signing Alonso. If Soto leaves they need left handed bats. And the Mariners are not signing two second basemen, Torres and Polanco.
