I dont think it'll get close honestly. Faith in DC is pretty low and Superman has never pulled in those kind of numbers. 600-800mill would be great for the film. James Gunn getting his wages tripled if Superman hits 1bill.

I would definitely have superman on the same level as or above F4. It's a make or break for DC and is highly anticipated- probably the most anticipated comic movie this year. With James gunn being the head of the project millions on millions are dying to see this.

The Running Man is not a remake of the Schwarzenegger movie, it’s a new adaptation of the original Stephen King novel. The original movie has almost nothing to with the book

Hi Chris ! Great ranking and I think that it has a high chance of being very accurate, however I do think that your superman ranking may be massively off purely for the fact that he is the face of superheroes, the rebirth of dc and a man that has a built in audience. The movie had a hit trailer and James Gunn is a man who understands the box office so I do believe that it will be pushing at least 800-900 mill but that is just my opinion 🙂

Prey is the only predator movie that can give the first one a run for it's money. I'd say the first Predator is slightly better, but Prey is a strong second and then of course the second Predator. Definitely encourage you to watch it.

I think that the placement of Five Nights at Freddy's 2 was fair, but the reasoning behind it wasn't very fair for 2 reasons. First, it was claimed that, outside of fans, the first movie wasn't taken very well. I have personally heard mixed reviews from nonfans as I have heard nonfans say that it wasn't anything special while I've also heard nonfans say that it was really good. I (a FNAF fan) went to see it with a friend of mine who isn't a fan (she told me that she watched Markiplier's videos on the first game and his first video on the second game and stopped due to being busy and it being boring) and her brother (who is a FNAF fan) and we all walked out saying that it was really good and that we all enjoyed it. When the makers of a game decide to make a movie off of it, they need to decide if the movie should be all petal to the medal where fans will love it but nonfans will have no clue what's going on, if they want to dumb it down so much where nonfans will understand what's going on but fans don't really like it (due to it being too dumbed down), or if they want to try to find an in between where it's dumbed down enough that nonfans will understand what's going on but not enough that fans lose interest. They seem to have decided on the in between option for FNAF and in my opinion they did an amazing job finding an in between. The fact that my nonfan friend enjoyed it tells me that I might be right. Second, it was said that it wasn't taken very well by critics but if there's one thing that I've learned from seeing the opinions of critics on some movies, it's that their opinion really don't mean sh*t.

You might be close, the first avatar was the new thing, the second lost some novelty but there was still the thirteen year gap between them. The third once again will lose a little of the novelty and will have a gap of three years, add technology improving only slightly to the list and it could very well make less than the second

The only movies I can see making a billion are as follows: Avatar 3 - Obviously. Probably 2 billion. Minecraft - Biggest video game in the world with a massive fanbase. Zootopia 2 - Last year I made the mistake of underestimating Inside Out 2, and I’m not doing that again. Superman - I really think this movie is going to be a massive hit. I can see it hitting a billion if it’s lucky. Wicked Part 2 - Part 1 is nearing 700 million, it’s certainly possible. Michael - this is probably a bit of a reach but i can see the possibility. Fantastic Four - only if it’s really good. I don’t think JW Rebirth will make a billion dollars. Dominion soured public opinion of this franchise and people just don’t go to theaters as much as they used to. I don’t see it making more than 900 million. HTTYD will probably be a big hit, but I don’t think it’ll make a billion. None of the previous HTTYD films even came close. Mission Impossible 8 will likely do better than Dead Reckoning due to there being less steep competition in late May this year than there was in mid July 2023, but I don’t see it hitting a billion. Fallout was a huge hit for this series and it didn’t even hit 800 million.

Lilo and Stitch is not even in your post. One of Disney's biggest IP's is definitely more in the running than the very start of a brand new cinematic universe (Superman). I have seen the Batman mentions but even that did not get to a billion, Batman is also much more popular than Superman, and I have heard that there is an inundation of characters in this new movie.

@@killert_7759 Little Mermaid took an 87 minuted animated film and lengthened it unnecessarily. It also promised to do something with the sisters but even with the added runtime, ,compelely ignored that. They also changed songs and added three new ones that do nothing for the story. Lilo and Stitch has only ONE song. "Ohana." Maybe some Elvis background music. The only way Lilo and Stitch missteps is if they remove the sassiness from Lilo and make this movie boring and serious.

I think you are wrong about Minecraft (200-300) and I think you are very wrong about the Michael Jackson biopic, that is going to make over 1 billion. I have zero interest in seeing either film. I have a hunch Snow White will do worse than what you have it, maybe a lot worse. I think the Running Man could end up much higher than you have it. The rest I think is pretty reasonable.

I think Jurrasic world is being overrestimated. Sure, the 3 made over a billion but its dropped alot from the first to the third. And what saved the third was actors from jurrasic park returning. But look at transformers. Transfers 2-4 made over a billion but the last one had a massive drop to 500 million. I think the same will happen to jurrasic world, even if it is good. Thunderbolts ain't makling 600 million. That movie will be lucky to cross 300 million. Same with captiain america 4. The marvels barely grossed over 200 million, a sequel to a billion dollar movie.

Jurassic Park can actually make a good movie though. Sure, only like two have been actually good, but that's better than Transformers' zero. But they still make billions because they're fun to watch. The only actually good film was Transformers One. And that didn't do bad because people don't care about Transformers, it did bad because they released it in late September: a dead month for theaters. Jurassic World Rebirth is another fresh start for the franchise that's coming out in the summer and has tons of Dinosaurs. It's guaranteed to reach $1 Billion, now matter how you put it.

@@poisonedyoyo I wouldn't call it missing, some movies still have it. Some of their last movies were Deadpool & Wolverine and Guardians Vol 3. But yeah, it's pretty hit or miss to be honest. Thunderbolts definitely isn't making a Billion, but it's been a while since a good, city level team up movie, so it may do well because of that alone
