P.S. I didn't get that free stuff :( , and I wear bee suits when necessary... I highly endorse personal protective equipment and don't think it demonstrates one's proficiency with bees :) don't be bullied :) 12:23 yes, dark and nautical! 17:28 My favorite swarm collection and transport system, and for moving frames of brood around in your apiary :) 25:35 Best 3-D Educational Tools Period :)

@@FrederickDunn Thank you Fred, my friend! That means a lot coming from another talented photographer! I’m excited to jump in with the hive butler this year. I was too nervous to pull many frames last year for honey harvest, being that it was my first year, I let the bees have it all, but I’m excited to use some of my own honey in my tea this year! Yeah!!!

@@FrederickDunn Thanks Fred! I feel that same way. I had a bad reaction last year from a couple of stings on my legs when I was helping a beekeeping friend out in her apiary and the reaction took about 30 days to recover from. Before then, when I got a sting, it would hurt for a minute or two, then the pain would fade away, maybe I’d have a bit of swelling for a few days, and it was fine, but after those stings on my leg…maybe they hit a major blood vessel or something, because I’ve been felt pain from a sting like that. It persisted for several hours, and at one point, my whole leg was throbbing and felt “heavy,” making it hard to walk. Kind of like if you leg fell asleep but it HURTS. It wasn’t a fun experience, so that’s when I got a full beesuit. There’s times I’ve gone out to the apiary to check with no suit though, I think there’s a little bit of conversing with your bees, knowing them a bit, reading how they feel or react, or what time of year it is. I think it’s true that each colony has their own personalities. And that’s ok.

@@FrederickDunn You like the dark library idea too! I’ve got so many books at this point, I’m not sure they’ll all fit on the bookshelves we plan on making. Eek! And I just acquired more! My grandfather had some pretty incredible books and magazines, covering everything from history, religion, foraging, and more, and I can’t wait to dive in! Also, totally agree! Matt makes the best educational tools! I think the kids will really like it!

I see it differently suits allow people keep bees at their comfort level, wear what makes you feel comfortable.😁

@@dcsblessedbees Definitely agree. Thank you for that point. I also had a really bad reaction last year to a sting on my leg, and now, just wearing a jacket and veil, not a full suit (like I do now), makes me nervous, and I’m a believer that bees can pick up on tones and emotions in the air. I want to resonate calmness. Sureness. Steadfast. If I can serve my bees better feeling confidently in a full beesuit, which makes me comfortable, then both my bees and I benefit. And maybe I’ll learn when I can do a full beesuit or just a jacket and veil, or heck, even just a veil! Who knows!

You're going to really like the Hive Butler. Very handy tool for all the different uses/configurations. And those 3D printed training aids and models....WOW! I never stopped by the booth because there was always a crowd at the times I went by. I do know he sold out and is in the process of making more stuff. I will be getting some items for the bee club. Great stuff and so much excitement in you video. Take care!

@@MikeBarryBees Thanks so much Mike for watching!! I’m SO excited about the hive butler. Having it is just a small step in me mentally saying I’m definitely getting honey this year. A proclamation. I hope I’m right! I can’t wait to use it!
